Wanda and Pietro do find the Avengers, and just in time. They're in the midst of a fight with Ultron, and his robots are everywhere. Everyone else seems to have a set part of their plan, but Steve Rogers's goal seems to just be punching things. He's welcome to do whatever he wants, of course, but it seems to be a losing battle.

Wanda and Pietro show up in the midst of their fight, and she's fairly confident in saying that they single-handedly ended it. Pietro runs around the street, pulling everyone out of the way as their runaway train barrels through the street, and Wanda nearly runs her power reserve dry bringing the train to a stop.

As soon as the train reaches a standstill, Wanda runs out to find Pietro. He's standing not far from the door, doubled over out of exhaustion and panting loudly. She rubs up to him and wraps her arms around him, her eyes lit with worry. He never gets like this. She's not sure he ever has.

"I'm fine," he assures her before she has the chance to ask. "I just need to take a minute."

"I'm very tempted not to give you one."

Wanda and Pietro look behind them just as Steve approaches. Wanda barely registers her hatred of the man and everything he stands for; her priorities lie elsewhere.

"The cradle," Wanda says quickly. "Do you have it?"

"Stark will take care of it."

Wanda's eyes go wide. "No, he won't."

"You don't know what you're talking about," Steve says. "Stark's not crazy."

Wanda shakes her head. That's not what she's afraid of. "He will do anything to make things right."

Steve freezes. After a beat, he puts his finger to his ear. "Stark, come in," he says, his voice filled with urgency. "Stark? Anybody on comms?" His face falls as he lowers his hand back to his side.

"Ultron cannot tell the difference between saving the world and destroying it," Wanda says. "Where do you think he gets that?"

Steve lets out a long breath. "I have to find Stark."

"We," Wanda corrects him. "This is our fight, too."

Steve chuckles dryly. "I don't think so."

"If you want to stop Ultron, you cannot do it alone," Pietro says.

"I've seen his mind," Wanda says. "I know him."

"We can help."

Steve crosses his arms, narrowing his eyes as he looks between them, until finally, he sighs and says, "Fine. Come on." He gestures for them to follow him, but Pietro puts an arm out to stop him.

"First, we get our friend," Pietro says.

"A friend from HYDRA?" Steve guesses, and it's clear in his tone that he doesn't like that.

"What difference does it make?" Pietro asks. "He is our friend, and he is coming with us."

Steve clenches his jaw, eyeing them with distrust. He shakes his head to himself. "Fine. Go get your friend."

"No, we get him," Wanda says.

"What, Pietro can move a couple dozen people away from a train, but he can't carry your friend down here?" Steve asks skeptically.

"He does not like to go fast," Wanda tells him.

Steve lolls his head back, exasperated. "How far is he?"

"No more than a 15-minute walk," Pietro says.

"Well, maybe a little longer," Wanda says. Pietro's not exactly the best judge of walking distance.
