You stumble out, and stopped, shocked. Leopardstar and Hawkfrost lay dead (I just imagined they died at the same time).
"What happened?" you demand.
"Reedwhisker found them by a river. Apparently, Hawkfrost asked Leopardstar to go hunting, then threatened to kill you if you didn't become his mate," Mistyfoot nodded to her, "Leopardstar attacked, and they both died."
"Are you Mistystar now?" you ask.
"Yes," Mistystar said, "Leopardstar is in StarClan, and Hawkfrost is in the Dark Forest."
"Good," you breathe.
Mistkit and Spotkit padded out, their fur sleek.
"Ah, I see the kits are ready," Mistystar mewed.
"Yes," Reedwhisker came to sit next to you.
"From this moment, these kits will be known as Mistpaw and Spotpaw," Mistystar announced, "Reedwhisker, you are a loyal warrior. You will be the mentor of Mistpaw."
Reedwhisker's eyes widened, and he touched noses with his daughter.
"Y/W/N, Spotpaw is your apprentice. You are a loyal and brave warrior. Teach your daughter your skills!"
You smile and touch noses with Spotpaw.
"I understand it is very rare for parents to mentor kits, but I think it's very important for my next announcement, choosing my deputy," Mistystar mewed, "Reedwhisker, will you walk with me as deputy? And Y/W/N, will you walk next to me as a senior?"
"Yes," you and your mate answer.
"Then, cats of RiverClan, I announce Reedwhisker deputy and Y/W/N a senior!" Mistystar yowled.
"REEDWHISKER! Y/W/N! MISTPAW! SPOTPAW!
Yes, a new life has begun.
