"Andddd... Done!" Draken said and went to wash his hands.

He came back and put on his jacket, looking at me.

"Let's go." He said lending me a hand.

I looked confused at him but still took his hand.

"Are you playing his game or what?" I whispered to him, slightly nooding towards Inupi who was getting ready to leave and close the store too.

"What game? I'm not doing anything." He said looking just as confused as me.

Yes, you are. Holding my hand... Such a simple gesture yet my heart feels like it's gonna explode.

Fucking hell, y/n! You're pathetic! Stop this.

I shook my head and turned towards Inupi, waving.

"Good bye! Reach safe home and text me when you do. Don't forget to eat and sleep, today was a tiring day for both of you. Stop neglecting your sleep schedule and your health."

"Yes, mom." He said rolling his eyes, but still smiling.

"I'm trying to be caring here, humph!"

"Yeah, yeah. I will, don't worry about me. Good bye, take care."

"Will do."

Me and Draken got out of the store and went towards his motorcycle.

"Hop on." He said, handing me one of the helmets.

The ride was a peaceful one, and in no time, we already arrived. Though something wasn't right.

A dense cloud of smoke.

The building is on fucking fire.

Well, the 6th floor of it.

The floor where my apartment is.

My eyes widened and I tried to run inside, but Draken caught my hand and pulled me back.

"Easy, easy. We're going there together, don't rush. It's dangerous." He said in a low voice.
