It's been two weeks since the shooting. Erin still hasn't woken up. Things aren't looking so good. Her organs are starting to fail. The doctor told her parents they might have to start planning a funeral. They didn't take that too well. It's just been a rough time. Kyler was going to get hers. it's most definitely coming. I called my homeboy and asked if I could meet with him at the McDonalds up the street.

Sam came with me because he didn't want me going alone, but I really think he wanted in on the plan. He didn't look like his normal self. He had on all black, a SnapBack pulled down real low and he just carried himself differently.

When we pulled up I saw D sitting in his car. He motioned for us to get in. I got in the front and Sam got in the back. "What up shawty? Heard about your girl. What you tryna do about it?" "D, you know me. I been long out of the game, but the way the doctors talking Erin might not live. She's been in a coma for two fuckin weeks now. Kyler needs to pay." "Aite. We can do this one or two ways, you do it or I do it." He said with a straight face. I looked at Sam then back at D and said "Nah bruh this is ours to handle. I just need you to find out where she been hiding & let us know." D shook his head & asked us if we wanted to light up. Both of us shook our heads, no hesitation.

We smoked about 3 blunts then headed back to the hospital. We were high as fuck. Sam threw on his shades, but me I didn't care. Kyler took someone from me and she was going to pay. When we got back to the hospital I saw Erin's parents along with my mom & Tay sitting there with sadness on their face. Something wasn't right.

"What's going on?" Sam asked.

"The doctors said that Erin has about three hours to live. Her organs are failing and there's nothing they can do. They've tried every kind of medicine and she's not in good enough health to undergo surgery." Said Erin's dad. I just broke down and cried. Sam caught me before I hit the ground. He whispered in my ear that she was going to get hers. He told me to get it together and dry my tears.

I did exactly what he said and looked at her parents. They had been crying and told me that I could see her first. Sam came with me. As we sat by her bed we began reliving the good times. Trying to be as positive as we could, but then something happened. Erin began to cough, and an eye started to open. Sam looked at me in disbelief.

"No fuckin way. We can't be this high can we? You see what I'm seeing?" He asked. I nodded my head and looked back at Erin. She was waking up. I couldn't believe it. My baby was coming back to life. I ran out into the hall and screamed nurse as loud as possible.

She rushed into the room wondering what was going on. I told her that Erin was awake. She couldn't believe her eyes. She asked her if she could hear her. Erin blinked her eyes to say yes. Then she ran a pen up and down her foot and she flinched. She wasn't paralyzed either. This was a miracle. Somebody must of said a lot of prayers because this is unbelievable.

The nurse called the doctor in & we ran to get Erin's parents. When they saw us coming her mom started crying. I guess she thought I was coming to tell her that she had passed away, but that's definitely not the case.

"No, why are you crying? I came down here because Erin woke up! She's alive & has feeling in her toes. She not paralyzed after all ." Erin's mom stood up in disbelief and said "What the hell. Are you serious?" I shook my head for confirmation and she ran down the hall so fast. She walked in the room and looked at her daughter. All she could do was cry and thank God for answering her prayers. She gave her a light kiss on the cheek and looked at the doctor.

"Is she going to be ok?" She asked. He smiled and said "well from the looks of it yes. Her organs appeared to be failing, but obviously they weren't. There's one problem though, she can't talk." "What? Why not? The bullet hit her spine not her brain. What's going on?" "I'm not too sure yet. It may just be thats she still in shock, or she hasn't spoken in two weeks. Maybe her body just needs time to adjust. I'm going to have some tests done to make sure everything truly is ok."

Erin's mom shook her head and thanked the doctor for all his help. Her dad was lost for words. He didn't have much to say. He just told Erin how much he loved her. She smiled and tears began to fall. We asked her what was wrong, but silly us she couldn't talk. I handed her her phone out of my purse and she wrote "I'm just glad to be alive. Babe please don't try to get even. Let God handle it." I gave her a kiss and gave her my word, I wouldn't take matters into my own hands.
