In hindsight, she should've just ignored him. Maybe if she had pretended to know nothing, or just ignored him, she wouldn't be in this mess. In fairness, the blame couldn't be put on her, not fully at least. He was very nosy, even if she had ignored him, he would have figured it out anyways. Getting involved with him would only lead her to the path of violence, she hated violence. She didn't know what to say.
"So, what do you say? Want to come with me?"
How did she even end up like this? She shouldn't be here. She should be at home, as a teenager, reading the latest chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen, not in an old abandoned car, as a child, staring at a character from Jujutsu Kaisen.
Perhaps we should rewind for a moment. Yes, that seems sufficient, and rather stereotypical for this situation.

.Kenzo Miya was your average anime fan, she had her likes and dislikes, and Jujutsu Kaisen was definitely something she liked. The movie, Jujutsu Kaisen 0, had just been released in her city and Miya was going to see it again. Miya had already seen it twice.
The time was 18:00, the movie started at 18:45. She managed to sneak out by 18:15, though there was no need to actually sneak, she lived alone. As she walked off of her property and onto the street, she turned her head and was greeted by a scene she'd only seen in animes. Truck-kun, either a protagonist's greatest enemy or their greatest ally.
"Motherfuck-" She wasn't even able to finish saying her favorite curse word, before she was hit.
Her vision faded fast. The hit shouldn't have killed her, only injured. Miya was malnourished though, she had a weak body. The hit shattered many bones, the force of falling on the ground led to a shattered temporal bone and the act of being hit led to broken vertebrae. Even if she hadn't died, she would have likely lost feeling in certain parts of her body.
As quickly as her vision faded, it began to form again, though now it was blurry. She began to cry, loudly. It had been too much for her to handle. She couldn't feel the pain from the hit, she must've lost the feeling in her body.

.Except, that's not what happened. She was reborn. She was a baby, one who had just been born. Of course she didn't feel the pain of the hit, she never had been hit.
Miya didn't realize what had happened until a week after she had been reborn. It was only when her new parents had taken her home did she realize something was off.
Her new parents weren't very good, at least, they weren't fit to care for a child. They were irresponsible, had Miya been a normal baby she likely wouldn't be able to survive very long.
She was three when her parents were killed. She couldn't help but feel bad for them. Even if they weren't good parents, they still deserved a chance at life. Even so, she held no grudge against the man who killed them. He had let her live, he wasn't being paid to kill her, only her parents. If he didn't have to kill a kid, he wasn't going to.
"I have a kid around your age, probably? Sorry for taking away your home, little one, but a paycheck is a paycheck." He had said. He went to ruffle the girls hair, only to rip his hand away from her.
She was three when her curse energy developed. Though the assassin couldn't see cursed energy, he could still sense it. Not knowing what she could do, he wasn't going to risk touching her, at least not skin contact. He grabbed a blanket that had been sprawled out on the bed and used it to pick her up. He raided the family's kitchen, taking anything that wouldn't go bad immediately. He left the house with the girl and supplies.
