Shotaro helped sho-chan wear his suit jacket. The father and son stood in front a full body mirror, eyes glossy at the moment.

"You look dashing, my pup." Shotaro told Shijiro, placing his chin on his son's shoulder. "You remind me of me when I had a play wedding with your other father."

The memory was sweet. Making him wonder if it could actually happen, would it still be sweet? He means, was twenty years to late for his happy ending? He wasn't sure.

Shotaro unconsciously digs his hand on Shojiro waist, making the young otter pup look over at him with worry. "Papa, are you alright?"

Was he? Shotaro doesn't know. He wondered if things were different. If  he and sungchan were different people leading different lives, would the ending of their story be different?

Would their story be different if Sungchan was not a son coming from a powerful clan, and would it be different if he wasn't a son of two doctors. Would it?

"Papa?"

Shotaro blinked, realizing he trailed off. He took in Shojiro's worried expression through the mirror. "I'm fine, sho-chan." He answered, squeezing once. "I'm fine." Squeezing twice before letting go and moving away from his son.

He doesn't know if he's fine. He doesn't know if he won in this life. He just doesn't who the winner was. He doesn't even know what winning was like. He always lost.

"Papa?" Shojiro turned around, holding his papa's fingers. He grew worried. His papa looked sullen. He wondered if it was because of him. "Pa, are you disappointed with me?"

Disappointed? Why would shojiro ever think that? "Of course not baby," Shotaro reassured. "You're my pride and joy. You would never disappoint me."

"But, it's just," Shojiro sighed, "You've done so many things for me. You sacrificed for me all the time, and I couldn't even repay you. I'm getting married and you—"

Shotaro shushed his blabber child. Goodness, his blabberness reminded him of sungchan. He really is his father's son. "My baby," he ran a hand through Shojiro's hair. "Having you was the best thing that ever happened in my life."

"But you didn't have a choice!"

"Choice?" Shotaro asked him, "Baby, I had a choice to keep you or not. My parents, your grandparents, were eager for me to get an abortion, but I didn't. I chose you, my baby, because whatever happens, I choose you."

Shojiro felt himself tear up. He was so lucky to have a father than chose him. Tears were threatening to fall, but Shotaro was quick to wipe them away with his thumbs. "I choose you, pa." He let go of his papa's fingers and hugged him. "I love you."

Shotaro smiled, a hand gently patting Shojiro's hair. "I love you, my baby. Whatever happens, I choose you."

"Has anyone seen the papa and son?" Yangyang asked walking up to Jaemin and Donghyuck with a margarita. What? He needed a drink since he's been “stressed”. "We have," he shook his right arm before looking at his watch. "Thirty minutes before the wedding."

"Oh shut up, yangyang." Jaemin groaned, pushing the sheep away. His head was killing him. The last thing he remembered was sitting on Jeno's lap by the bar before completely blacking out. Hep! Before you get any ideas on what came after that, he'd like you to know that he woke up on the beach, his body except his head covered in sand. Credit Hendery and Xiaojun for that. "I'm having a headache."
