"I know you," the taller man in suit said, pointing at the over of the boat. "You're Nakamoto Yuta, world-renowned soccer coach and trainer. Current coach of Aespa. Jung Sungchan, Jung chain of Hotels and resorts CEO." He offered a hand to shake to the older man, which the older man, Yuta, returned feverishly. "You know," he drawed back his hand, secretly wiping it behind him, "I used to play sports back in the day. Hockey and basketball. I even went with saying, before we became hockey kings, we were once basketball princes."

The trio of men sat facing each other on the boat's deck.

"How nice," the short man in suit snorted, "Did you get that from a self-saying maker?"

Sungchan laughed. "Nah, just back in university."

"So," Jeno drawled, "How you know Shotaro? I mean, we can't be randomly going an island for some weird reason, I don't know, a relative hunting?"

"Met Shotaro through his mom, apparently my mom and his were friends. One thing led to another and we met." Yuta casually answered. His mom introduced him to shotaro's mom when he announced he would finish his studies in a foreign continent. And along the way, he met shotaro who was trying to get over his heartbreak. Quite sad seeing a cheerful kid cry because of love. "You?" He asked Jeno.

"We used to be partners in our university's lunch program, Tarobihan. Good times, although never heard from him since then." Jeno replied. If he remembered correctly, Shotaro was the second option. The first one was his high school friend who suddenly dropped out. "And that leaves to mister CEO." He turned to sungchan who was silent, arms crossed over his chest as he leaned on a closed trunk.

"Met him on my last year of university as well. Cute guy and got along well together. Sadly things happened and I had to leave." Well, sungchan needed some self-seeking (that lasted twenty years) before he could face the otter again and ask him to choose him again. He needed off-screen character development. "So, which groom?" He asked Yuta.

"Shojiro, although never met the guy but I've heard that name come from one of my old players before." Yuta replied, looking away into the horizon where he spotted the silhouette of an island. "Land ho!"

"Does your fiance even know?" Georgina asked, helping Shojiro with the crates that were going to be painted and used for the flowers.

"Of course he doesn't," Shojiro turned around to face the older. "He can be an idiot but I know he wouldn't lile this plan, but I can't help, Gina. This is my only chance I can ask them to come. I only get married once."

"No you don't, second chances exist." Georgina replied, moving past the pup to pick up the crate behind him. She stacked it on top of the other stacked crates in her arms. "And how are you going to know they're the one?"

"I'm just going to feel it. You know, get that pull." Shojiro wasn't sure. What if the three men would look different from him, like he wouldn't see any sort of resemblance. Sometimes it's not what is physical that connects you, its the soul that does. "I'll get that pull."

"You better do because I see three men approaching the front of the hotel." Chunja announced, using the binoculars to spot the said three men. She looked away to face the two. "I think that's them."

Sungchan huffed in both fatigue and annoyance. He didn't get why there was no valet parking or some gulf carts to bring them to the hotel. He would like to talk to the manager or even owner. He could give some tips on how to properly run a hotel.

Beside him was Jeno who didn't break a sweat. This was nothing. Back in high school, his old friend (the one who was supposed be his partner) always asked him to accompany him a handful of time while doing errands by the teachers and occasionally some students.

And on Sungchan other side, Yuta remained unbothered despite carrying two of sungchan's bags and his backpack on his back. He was a trainer, this was nothing.

They arrived at the front of the hotel, marveling at its traditional front and the white flowers that surrounded the place. Must be for the wedding.

"So, do we go in?" Sungchan asked, already done looking at the hotel. It looked basic. He really needed to talk to the owner. A hotel owner to hotel owner talk.

"Ye—"

"Hi, can I help you?"

The three men turned around, seeing a boy who look vaguely lile the otter who sent them the invitations. They watched as the boy looked at each one of them.

"We're here for the wedding. You must be Shojiro. Ihave to say, you look lile your father " Yuta told the boy who nodded his head. Yup, it's shotaro's kid. "I'm Nakamoto Yuta."

"Jeno, Lee Jeno." Jeno introduced with a curt nod.

"And I'm Jung Sungchan." Sungchan introduced himself. "And I would like to receive an audience with the owner of this hotel. Maybe give them some tips to make this place go from woah to wow."

Shojiro spluttered. The owner of this hotel was his papa, the person they think who sent for them. Having sungchan meet his papa was not something he wants his old man to experience, especially when it's something like surprise visit. Bless his otter heart.

"Uh..." he awkwardly shifted in his spot. Think Shojiro. He searched around his brain for a way to hide them. He also needed to move fast because his papa would probably notice three men standing in front of the hotel looking lost, and if by chance he had his binoculars, he would know it was his past love partners. "Come with me?"

Jaemin perked up again, feeling goosebumps on his skin. He also snifted the air, sneezing immediately as he recognized the strong scent. "My radar senses something."

"Which one?" Shotaro asked, busy fixing the stool his two friends broke. Donghyuck, who was on  the bed scoffed, "probably his gay radar."

"No," Jaemin shook his head, sniffing the air again. "The jeno one."

The three men followed Shojiro, who led them through a few narrow passages and made sure they avoid any human being. They went on walking for a few minutes until they stopped by an abandoned goat house. How can they tell? There was a goat in front of the building.

Shojiro pushed the rusty wooden door, letting three men enter. He knew they found him suspicious  seeing their warry expression. He wanted to apologize for the inconvenience. It wasn't his intention to hid them from his papa.

He closed the door before facing the three confused men. "Hi?"

"Is this our room?" Sungchan asked them, surveying the inflated matress at the side that had thin covers and the other junk that was in the room.

"I believe so, Sungchan." Yuta grimaced at the room. He sensed something fishy and it all started from the kid. "Can we meet your father now?"

Shojiro felt dream drop into his stomach like a piece of now properly chewed bread. "I...I actually sent the invite."

"You?" Jeno adked accusingly, "sent the invite? To the three of us?" He motioned to himself and the other three who had the pleasure to meet.

"Yes and actually, my papa knows nothing about this." Shojiro was smiling but it was not out of joy, it was out of feet. The three men (especially Sungchan) looked like deers caught by a headlight.

"Oh no," Sungchan gasped, dramatically turning around. "Your papa is going to kill me."

"No he wouldn't." Shojiro tried to convince. His papa was a harmless otter. Sure he packed a kick but he used to be a dancer back in high school and university. "He's too kind for that."

"I'm not supposed to be here." Sungchan faced him. "The last time I saw your father, I knew he would never want to see me again."

"Well, you never know that. What if my papa was actually waiting for you?" Shojiro doesn't know why but he was feeling this strange pull toward sungchan. Maybe this was what he said before. The pull he would feel once he meets his father. "He could miss you. And this is my surprise for him."

"Surprised?" Sungchan asked him incredulously. "Your papa is going to kill me once he sees me. We didn't end on good terms."

"Well boohoo to you." Yuta commented. "I'd like to meet your papa now. A little chat before the wedding,  and congratulations by the way."

"Thank you." Shojiro muttered to the man, turning to him.

"Wait, you guys aren't bothered that we've been lied to by a boy thinking it was shotaro? That's identity theft!" Sungchan exclaimed, giving a pointed look at his companions who were unbothered by the revelation. "Or am I the only one who ended with bad terms?"

"Only you," Jeno replied, sitting on the air mattress. "But, we can see him, right?"

"Of course! Tomorrow, you can see him tomorrow during the wedding. But as of no, please stay here and away from his sights."

"Shojiro, right? I can't be here." Sungchan repeated,  stepping up to move closer to the boy. He towered over the young pup. "And even if I wanted to, I don't want to turn your special day to a bad one for your father. You only get married once."

"Look, " Shojiro looked at the man straight in the eye. He swore he could see a slight resemblance in them. "When I sent the invites it was a longshot. I didn't think you three would come here, but here you are right now. Attending a wedding, surely you didn't a sudden pull or a calling to come here, right?"

"No because it was my secretary who read the invite and organize my trip here." Sungchan deadpanned. He should have asked Renjun for the invite. "I need to get off this island." And avoid being seen by Shotaro.

"No can do deer boy," Yuta replied, sitting on the hardwood floor. "You could use some adventure in your life, and didn't you mention you wanted to mee the owner of the hotel?"

"I do, but that was before I learned that Shotaro doesn't know we're here." Sungchan replied in frustration. He was getting old and his patience was running thin. "I can't do this."

"Please!" Shojiro suddenly held his hand. He was this close to begging. "Just for me! Um...I'll make sure papa won't know you're here and you can take the ferry tomorrow after my wedding. Papa won't know and we'll jist keep this a secret and act like we don't know each other."

Sungchan sighed. Why was this pup so difficult? Honestly  it reminded him of Shotaro's stubborness. "Why are you doing this?"

"Because I want to do something for my papa. He rarely mentions you guy but basdd on what he wrote, he loved your presence and that's what he needs right now. He needs love, not as lovers, but as friends! So please, just this once."

"Come on, Sungchan, for the boy." Yuta tried to convince.

"It's not like you have better things to do." Jeno added.

Jeno was right, and he had no choice. Yuta wasn't going to sail the boat anyways. He sighed in defeat, but managed to look at Shojiro straight in the eye with full seriousness. "This better be worth it, pup. I don't want to die in your father's arms."
