Have you ever wondered how to know if your town or even city has become a main point for something illegal?  Say drugs for example.  Just one simple thing to look for, money.  When money is being spent, by like a lot of money is being spent on a daily basis then you really know that somethings changed in that little town of yours.  Even when your from a poorer part of the country or state you can still make connections.  But hey what's even better then having money?  Power... that's all it takes to get all that money that's being spent.  And it also helps when you have enough money that can buy you that amount of power you need , especially when it's something illegal.  Power helps you in many different ways when your business if not exactly the most healthy thing for the world.  Power gets you protection, power gets you people, and most importantly power can keep you out of jail if your friends with the right people.

Business was doing better then ever for Luciana.  Now being friends or on the good side of Benjamín you could say with the Arellano Felix family, gave her the chance to ship not only through her routes but also through theirs, and she allowed them to move through her plaza if needed.  So yes, guess you could call it an unofficial partnership.  If anything it was more of a "you do me a favor, I do you a favor" type of thing going on. "Lucí" Marco yelled for the girl, barging into her bedroom.  "What" Luciana groaned, placing a pillow over her head.  "Come on sleepyhead.  The Arellanos want to see you.  They just called" Marco sighed, just at the look of Luciana at 9:00 in the morning.  "Oh come on!  It's too early for this" Luciana sighed, practically throwing herself out of bed.  "Get a move on.  We're leaving for the airport in an hour" Marco said just before closing the door.  "I am so glad I finally decided to get that airport" Luciana sighed to herself, heading to her closet.

"Good enough" Luciana mumbled, just grabbing a pair of black pants and a black top, topping it off with one of her expensive belts.  "Marco" Luciana yelled.  "Yes" Marco asked through the door.  "Do you have any idea what they want to see me about" Luciana asked, starting to get changed.  "No idea.  All they said was they needed to see you as soon as possible" Marco explained.  "Oh?  Alright, thank you" Luciana said, picking up the pace already knowing that if they wanted to see her as soon as possible then it must be important. "Ok I think I got everything" Luciana thought to herself, making a quick scan around the room to see if she forgot anything. "Well I obviously need these" Luciana gave a light laugh, grabbing the set of knives off her side table and heading out the door.

"Javi" Luciana yelled for one of her men.  "Si señora" Javi asked.  "Your in charge while I'm gone alright?  I have a shipment coming in today that I need you to take care of. Could you do that for me" Luciana instructed and asked one of the few men she could trust with this. "Yes, of course I can" Javi agreed. "Great. Thank you" Luciana gave a small smile before heading out to the car. "Oh, Mrs. Martínez! What can I do for you" Luciana exclaimed, seeing the older woman at her doorstep. "Hola Luciana. My son wanted me to bring you this, he had to hurry off to school" Mrs. Martínez gave Luciana a bag of the best fish in town. "He specifically wanted these saved for you after you got him that bike last week" Mrs. Martínez smiled. "Thank you so much! You have no idea how bad I've been wanting these" Luciana laughed, pulling the woman into a hug. "Tell Joaquín I said thank you? Alright" Luciana added. "Oh yes of course I will dear. Well I'll let you get on with your day. Have a good one" Mrs. Martínez smiled at the girl, making her way back down the driveway. "Such a sweet woman" Luciana said aloud. "Javi! Put these inside for me. We best get a move on" Luciana exclaimed, handing Javi the bag and heading to the car. "Alright gents. Let's go" Luciana instructed, putting in her seatbelt before they left.
