─"WOW LIYUE IS TRULY BREATHTAKING!" you clamored in amazement at the beautiful scenery. 

ningguang and beidou simply giggle at your amazement as they watch you gape at the view. 

"we've barely shown you anything dear don't get too excited yet." beidou sent you a wink that warmed your face. 

"sorry, i've never really seen the outside world i spent most of my life working for the raiden shogun." you mumble quietly in embarrassment. 

"oh sweetie." ningguang patted your head softly. 

"oh darling." beidou rubbed your back sotthingly. 

"i-it's nothing you guys are going to show me around right we'll make up for lost time." you tried to brighten up the slightly somber mood. 

"of course baby!" beidou and ningguang chime together. 

you had never seen anything like it. 

it felt like the city was pulsating with life. there wasn't a moment where one single thing was completely still. 

people were passing by you like a rushing sea, never once stopping to pay you any attention. 

you had never seen so many people smelt so many scents and heard so many sounds at the same time. it would have been overwhleming if you didn't have beidou and ningguang guiding you along the whole way. 

in terms of liveliness you couldn't even compare liyue to inazuma. 

inazuma was tense and quiet, very reserved. 

even after baal had her little epihinay and the city had less pressure on it everything was still very proper. 

liyue however, was so active and animated. 

you couldn't wrap your head around the fact that it could be like this all of the time. 

you wondered if even at night the city would come to life and brigthrn up the night sky. 

beidou and ninggunag gratefully drunk in your childlike wonder and awe. 

they had expected you to be excited to explore a new city but they definitely weren't expecting it to be like taking a puppy on a walk for the first time. 

ningguang easily spent tens of thousands of mora on you. she claimed it was a common thing to do while introducing someone to liyue, but she really just wanted to sopil you. 

beidou made sure to enthusiastically introduce you to almost everyone in the bustling port. 

you wondered how beidou was able to remember all of the names and faces and even decided to ask her about it. 

"i just have a good eye." beidou lifted up her eyepatch to send you a cheeky wink. 

soon night came and all of your lingering questions were answered. 

liyue was the city that never slept. 

the lanters lit up the night sky like swarming fireflies. 

even after the day had ended and it got late there was still many people continuing to work and socialize casually. 

"wow." you mumbled to yoruself for what felt like the millionth time today. 

"you've said that a lot today (y/n)." beidou chuckled softly. 

"feels like the only thing i've heard come out of your mouth today." ningguang hummed. 

"sorry, it's just such a wonderous city." you sighed blissfully.

"that's ok no need to apologize." ningguang softly rubbed your arm softly. 

"let's take you home now and finish giving you your liyue welcoming." beidou sneakily pintched your butt. 

a/n: this chapter took way longer then it needed to oh my god kms. a lot of description kind of filler. i'm curious as to see what i do with the next chapter. anyways i hope you guys enjoyed this chapter i love you guys so so much stay healthy and stay safe!
