Author here! I'm going to start now, and the disclaimer was in the previous chapter. Not going to repeat it. Hope you like it! But the May Castellan part might not be that good, I'm bad at it. 😫 Vote and comment please! Enjoy!

Luke POV

My mother just had another fit. I was hiding in the broom closet. She hurt me. My mother hurt me. How could she? I poked my head out cautiously, and saw that my mother was huddled in a ball. Her shoulders were shaking. I could hear her sobs. But she was surrounded in green mist. She got up and turned around, and her eyes were wild. Her eyes locked onto my eyes and slowly walked toward me.

"Help the boy. Help my son," She hissed. She grabbed my shoulders harshly and shook me. "Help him. Terrible fate. Great danger."

I pulled free from my mother and ran up to my room. I started packing a bag. I'm not listening to her or anything, but I can't take any of he madness anymore. I just can't. I grabbed one of my duffle bags and stuffed clothes inside. I stealthily snuck down the stairs and peeked into the kitchen. My mother wasn't in there, so I quickly ran in and stuffed some food into my bag. I slung the bag over my shoulder and walked to the front door.

"Bye mom..." I whispered. I opened the door quietly and quickly closed it once I was outside. I looked around and ran toward the trees. I shouldn't have to run away. I'm only eleven. Mr vision blurred with tears, but I blinked them back.

I found a sturdy tree, far enough from my house, and climbed it. I got a small blanket out and wrapped myself in it. I buried my head in the blankets and started crying silently. What happened to my mom? Why is she acting like that?

I ignored my thoughts and tried to fall asleep, but I couldn't. My dreams became nightmares, and sleeping became staying awake. My mom used to be able to help, but not anymore. I'm all by myself. I can trust no one, because in the end, they'll all leave me.

Thalia POV

My mother had told me to go and get the picnic basket. I did, but when I got back, my little brother, Jason, had disappeared.

"Where is he?!?!" I screamed, with tears streaming down my cheeks. She turned to look at me coldly.

"He is no more, Thalia Grace. He will live with the wolves, and become the greatest demigod, the world has ever seen," said my mother, but I could tell it wasn't my mother. My mother doesn't sound like that.

"You're not her. YOU'RE NOT MY MOTHER!!! My mother would never give Jason away!" I yelled. I shook my head wildly, not willing to believe the words coming out of that person's mouth.

"Oh, but she would! For I am only inhabiting her body, to see that she does not break her promise. She hasn't, but taunting you is so much fun!"

I screamed and woke up. That nightmare has been haunting me for a year. I looked around, and found that I almost fell out of the tree I was sleeping in. I got up and quickly rearranged my things. I couldn't stay in one place for too long. The monsters will come. The first time they came, I could hardly defend myself.

I jumped out of the tree and landed on my feet. I grabbed my knife and held it in front of me for light. It was approximately midnight. That means I've been sleeping for about 3 hours.

Stupid Hera. She made my mother give up my little brother. She's just a jealous bitch. I mean, she should've known that Zeus wouldn't be a faithful husband. He's slept with almost every single woman in Olympus. I will never forgive my mother or Hera for this. They will pay, and I will get my little brother back.
