Living in a small town sometimes has its perks, but not always. Especially if everyone knows you. I'm the one that the people talk about, the girl everyone wants to be. I'm the perfect girl, if you agree with what the other girls say. But if they actually knew me, they wouldn't say that about me.
The name is Cynthia, Cynthia Anne Burleson. I live in a small town called Edgefield, the type of town everyone knows you. I am moving soon, but this is my home it is always going to be my home. But once you get famous living in a small town just isn't the best idea. I don't want everyone knowing where I live. But I suppose when you are famous you got to live where the rich people live. Even if I am famous I'm not going to live in this mansion. Its sad to leave all of my close friends but luckily my best guy friend is coming with me, but he has no choice in the matter he is my make up person and choices the cutest clothes, that is the perks of having a homosexual best friend. All the guys want him and the girls wished they looked like a girl version of him. He is the perfect height, has the arse all the girls want perfect roundness i might say i even wish i had it. Bleach blonde hair with the perfect flip, blue eyed beauty, plump juicy lips just perfect with his lip piercing, he has no flaws. At least none that he shows off. Of course as i am talking about him he walks up.
"Hey babe!" I say.
"Whats up gorgeous?" says Leon.
"Oh, the usual talking to the people that interview me. You know talking about you and how much you mean to me for dropping your life and coming out here to live with me." i say joyfully.
"Thats hot!" leon says it with a sassy attitude. "Don't forget to add how perfect i am at doing your make-up and picking out cute clothes."
Sometimes Leon can be self-centered. He is still my best friend and I wouldnt give him up for the world. We finally arrive in New York, I'm going to be staying here for a while because this is where we will be filming the movie i got a part in. Not completely sure what its about. But they needed a country girl for the main part. Since i am your ideal country girl. Im not going to say i am absolutely perfect, I do have flaws. I don't let people know the real me, actually no one does. I keep it a secret. No ones knows my pass, and I plan to keep it that way. Even though i am only 18, I have always been on my own. My mom left me at a young age. My dad never really got over it, he kind of kept to himself so i didn't bother. i had to cook, clean, do schoolwork, basically everything. My dad was never home and when he was he was too busy being drunk yelling at me saying i was never good enough. Nothing i did was ever good enough. So getting out of that town was a good thing. Leon knew about my dad because he was there one time when my dad came home drunk. I left when i was about 16, i needed to get out. I did anything and everything i could possibly do for a job. It helped, but then i had my big break once i found my acting job. They told me I was the best that auditioned, finally i was good at something. As i arrived at the hotel i would be staying in until my apartment was ready, i met with a few people who had saw the movie posters. The paparazzi was everywhere asking questions.
"How does it feel to be a big star now?"
"What is the movie about?"
"Is there anyone you are seeing?"
I didn't answer any questions, my bodyguards were too busy trying to let me in the building because i was so nervous i kept accidently dropping my keys trying to get into the front door. Finally my bodyguard Clyde took the keys and got us in.
"Clyde, is it always like this?" I said nervously.
"Yes ma'am, it's going to be like this for a while at least till after the movie is out." said Clyde with his deep voice.
