I was half awake and half asleep. "Mi amor. Wake up, we are here. We are in Spain." I Heard Armando's voice say softly. I smiled and opened my eyes. He was sitting on the side of the bed next to me, softly brushing the hair from my face and smiling. "Good morning mi amor." he said. "Good morning." I say back. As I sit up I notice that he is already dressed for the day. I guess I should get up as well. I get out of bed, still in my undergarments that I have basically been wearing as pajamas. "I will wait outside while you dress." He says and heads for the door. "Okay, I'll try and be quick." I tell him as I reach for my dress. "Take your time. There is no need to rush." He says before he closes the door.

Wow. I'm in Spain. I am actually here. I am really excited to see the country, the town where Armando lives. Then I get even more excited as I remember that I will be living with him. "God, I can't wait to see his house. See where I will be living." I say to myself as I finish getting dressed. Once I am dressed and my hair is brushed, I go to the door and open it. Armando is waiting there for me, just like he said he would be. He smiles down at me. " Are you ready?" He asks. The smile never leaving his face. I remember my books and things. I don't want to leave without them. "Just a moment. I want to get my things before we leave." I tell him as I head back inside the cabin. Probably for the last time. I don't think women are really supposed to be on the ships, but I guess this was a....special circumstance.. I mean It's not like I really chose to be on the ship. But boy am I glad I was. "I can have my men gather your things and bring them to the house." Armando tells me. "That's alright. It's only a few things. I can get them." I say. I mean.. It really only is a few things. My dress I originally had on, the books and the brush Armando bought for me and the sketchbook and pencil he gave to me a few weeks ago. I got all of my belongings together and went to walk out with them but Armando stopped me. "Here mi amor, let me take those for you." He said as he took my things from my arms. "Thank you. Here at least let me carry my dress and brush." I say chuckling. "Okay." He said as I took those two things from him.

As we got off of the ship and walked to the carriage I couldn't help but look around wide-eyed at the place that he calls home. It was really beautiful. I honestly didn't know what to really expect but, whatever I could have expected was met and surpassed. As we sat in the carriage, being taken to my new home, Armando spoke up. "I hope you will like my home since now, it will be your home as well." He said smiling down at me. I smiled back up at him. "I'm sure I will love it. I already think this place is beautiful, so I'm sure your home will be just as beautiful Armando." I say to him. "Our home, mi amor." He corrects, still smiling. I smile back and we continue our travel to his-...our home, in comfortable silence.

When the carriage stops and the door is opened, I can't help but let out a small gasp. It's beautiful. Even more so than the town we just came through. "Armando." I breathe out, looking around in awe. I look at him, now by my side. "It's... My god, it's.. I have to words that could possibly describe how beautiful it is." I tell him. He chuckles as we walk to the door. "I'm glad you like it." He says as he opens the door, moving to the side to let me go in first. My god, the inside is even more beautiful. It's big, but not like too big that you'd get lost. I look around and spot the open back door that is visible from the entryway we just came through. I can see a large, green meadow out the back. I place my things on the floor and run to the back. I couldn't help myself. I had to see what was out there. As soon as I step foot outside again, I see a very large and, probably very old, tree. I run over to it and I can hear Armando, not too far behind me laughing to himself.

Armando's POV

I am relieved to know that she likes my home and now, her home as well. I watch as my beautiful angel runs out the back and up to the old oak tree not too far from the house. I smile as I watch how excited and happy she is. She looks like the most beautiful angel in all of creation as she runs through the meadow to the tree. The sun casting a heavenly glow on her, as if god himself was shining the light on her to illuminate the creation that he made. The wind blowing her hair in just the right way, her dress flowing in the breeze. I cannot wait to make sure she is mine forever. I will give it a little time though as I do not want to rush her into anything but, I plan on asking Lilliana, mi amor, to marry me. To be able to call her my wife, to spend every spare moment with her and ensure a frown nor tear ever graces her radiant and soft features. I will do anything and everything in my power to make sure she is happy. As I walk up to her, she turns and looks at me with the happiest and brightest smile I have seen her give. "So, you think you will be happy here mi amor?" I ask her, although I feel I already know the answer. "You have no idea. It's like I have died and gone to heaven. Happy doesn't even begin to describe what I am feeling right now." She tells me, as she wraps her arms around me in a tight hug. I melt at her touch and wrap my arms around her as well. "Would you like to see where you will be sleeping? If you would like, I can get some extra things for you." I ask Lilliana. She looks up at me with those enchanting blue eyes. "I'm sure whatever is there will be fine. I don't need too much besides books and maybe a couple more sketchbooks to draw in when the one I have it full." She tells me. I smile. "Of course mi amor. Whatever you need."
