Emma POV

I opened my eyes. It was like I had just been born. I had no memory of anything. The first thing I saw was the sun, and I was awed beyond words. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen in my life; which was only a few minutes by the way.
I was laying down on my back. I was in a small clearing in a forest. The forest was eerily quiet, but I was not afraid. I had no emotions then. I just lay down, blinking slowly whilst still admiring the beauty of the sun. I was naked and my hair was a tangled mess.

I slowly got up but my limps were like jelly. I stood on wobbly legs. Even though it was probably early afternoon, the only place the sun's rays were was the small clearing I was standing in. The forest was as dark as night.

Just then I felt a cold breeze and I wrapped my arms around myself. I took one step and fell down. That was when I saw him, the most beautiful creature, even more beautiful than the sun. I was frozen in shock. All I wanted to do was to continue gazing at this creature. It was a male, more beautiful than anything or anyone I had ever seen, though I had not seen anyone yet at that time. He had very pale skin and an angelic face, perfect features. His eyes were a deep red and his image was beautiful. He tilted his head and stared at me in confusion.

"What are you ? " he asked.

Those were the first words that I stored in my memory. I continued staring. He crouched like he was about to catch something, and I heard a low and dangerous hiss from him. My eyes widened in confusion and shock. He looked like a beautiful monster at that moment.

"She's mine" I heard him say.

Suddenly he stood upright in a blur. I gasped. His perfect face was comforted in shock and fear. It hurt my heart and I wanted to wipe out that expression from his face. Just as I struggled to get up he vanished in a blur. I got to my feet and fell again, then suddenly I was surrounded by snarls and blurry figures, the wind whipping my hair everywhere and cold seeping into my bones. I curled into a ball and sobbed whilst the snarls and blurry figures still surrounded me.
