about an hour later, the boys came over to colby's apartment. Ana was asleep in her room.

"it's time to party brother" jake said, unaware of ana being in the apartment.

"we can't be loud tho, i don't want to wake Ana" colby said.

"how is she doing?" sam asked.

"she's doing good so far-" colby said as jake cut him off.

"wait what? i'm so confused" jake said sitting down on the couch.

"yeah who's ana" corey asked.

"remember that girl that we found at the end of tunnel?" sam said "she's living with colby"

corey sat there with his jaw dropped.

"so she's like your little hostage now" jake said winking.

everyone laughed. "no jake jesus" colby said.

"can we meet her" corey asked.

"i want her to gain strength first" colby said "and get more comfortable with the living situation, and i think she's sleeping right now"

they all nodded "seems reasonable" they said.

Ana started to toss and turn during her nap, she rolled around and eventually landed on her right side.

she gasped loudly and began tearing up.

colby knocked on the door. "everything alright in there"

she wiped her tears and sniffed "i rolled on my ribs"

he opened the door and rushed up next to her. she groaned in pain.

"here i'll get you an ice pack" he said.

he walked to the freezer and grabbed a bag of frozen peas.

"is she okay?" sam asked.

"yeah i think, she rolled on her broken ribs" colby said.

"broken ribs?" corey said "oh my gosh"

"yeah" colby said as he walked back in to Ana's bedroom.
