🌻 Menori POV
I no longer care about whatever Basa-chano's family says about what I do concerning MY family. So, after his siblings showed up to see him, more like came to criticize me. I've been thinking a lot especially after the whole rumor thing that happened the other day. And I've come to the conclusion that to these people my feelings nor our family truly matter to them. Let me explain what's up.
So after Zenubasa's siblings had left, we went back to bed. After Basa-chano fell asleep I grabbed my phone and called his parents and told them exactly what happened, to say that his mom was upset with them is an understatement. So before my bunny rabbit left for his tour, after telling him the next day that our son will be born, his brother Ichita & his sister Akime called him and had apologized to him for that night.
Zenubasa confused, Ichita explained that one of the maids had come to their mother and had told her how they went behind her back after she had told them that 1. It's very late to be outside for whatever reason, 2. That coming over to see us can be handled in the morning, and 3. He's married now and shouldn't have his family known or be involved in every single thing he does.
And how through this maid Sasuno has expressed his disappointment on how his siblings not only disobeyed their mother and had visited us but also put their two cents in whatever was going on within his family. This maid had told Yitari that there's a chance that I didn't take their opinions well, and knows how Zenubasa would take his siblings side instead of his husbands. Ichita went on saying how they didn't take my feelings nor our family status into consideration. Simply ended the call with, "Family first, career second especially if that career is unrelated nor supportive of the family business. Menori's career is related and supportive of the family business and will continue to do so as we continue to support him and his career, as he's putting his family first."
Basa-chano was upset with the phone call and didn't say a word to me, not even a goodbye to me when he left for his tour. I've done nothing but loving and caring for that man and this is how he treats me..so be it. Nezumi, whom I thought was my friend and a support system when it comes to his family basically cut me off to the point where the only time or reason to see me and me only is if the babies or Basa-chano are around.
So I've decided to do something I still don't regret now. I'm gonna go call an old friend...my dear Zoramu. He picked up that phone so fast. "Hey what's up Menori? Is everything ok with you?" He asked, I stayed silent for a bit and then I started to fake cry, "Basa-chano just left for his tour, he didn't even say goodbye or anything to me, just ignored me and walked out the door. I'm seriously hurting right now." I hear nothing in response for a few seconds.
"I'll be there in about 20 minutes, 15 if I speed." He blurts out then hangs up, something tells me he still has access to our security system and saw through the cameras that I'm being honest. He arrives in 10 minutes, must've speeded here with all of his might. I sat him down at the kitchen table with Torushi in my lap. "Still as cutely gorgeous as ever I see." He says, complimenting me.
I smile with a little giggle, "Why thank you, I see you're looking really good yourself." As I am a sweet flirt. He nods grinning and then got up and asked me, "where's the bathroom? I need to wash up a bit." I pointed out the direction and he excuses himself. I immediately grabbed my phone and texted Zenubasa.
"Hey, don't think I'm happy. I'm not, it's obvious what's more important to you. So I'm telling you now that I hope your tour is a success, considering your marriage isn't doing that well. I'm just going to be sitting here looking like this while I play catch up with an old friend who I know you have met before."
