Ladybug stood on the roof of City Hall, overlooking Hawkmoth's newest akuma. Juleka had been re-akumatized into Reflekta and this time she had a gigantic sentimonster with her.

"What seems to be the doll-emma, M'Lady?" Cat landed beside her, leaning on his baton as he surveyed the damage.

Ladybug gritted her teeth. She didn't really have time for Cat's games today. "Reflekta is back."

Cat nodded. "I can see many of the buildings have been cat-sualties of her rampage."

More irritation bubbled in Ladybug's chest, but she ignored it. She needed to be focused right now.

"Lucky Charm!" Ladybug swung her yo-yo in the air.

A compact mirror fell into her hands. She glanced back at the sentimonster and then to the street where Reflekta was turning Parisian citizens into copies of herself.

"Even your lucky charm knows how pretty you are," Cat flirted as Ladybug looked into the glass.

She continued to ignore him and tried to think of a plan to use the mirror to defeat Reflekta.

"It seems pretty useless though," Cat continued.

Ladybug's hand dropped to her side. "It's not useless." She whirled to face Cat. "If you could give me a few minutes of quiet, maybe I could come up with a plan."

"Or you could just cover me while I cataclysm Reflekta's bracelet."

A flash of sunlight caught Ladybug's eye. She realized it was coming from the mirror. "I've got it!"

"Style? Charisma? Intelligence?" Cat guessed jokingly.

"A plan Kitty- Cat. Follow me!" Ladybug leapt from the roof.

Cat Noir jumped down behind her, mumbling something about her never taking him seriously. Ladybug almost laughed. How could she take him seriously when he was never serious?

She hesitated in the the alley.

"Do you want to clue me in on this plan?" Cat crossed his arms.

"Hold on." Ladybug angled the mirror so that the sun reflected in Reflekta's eyes.

As Reflekta raised one arm to shield her eyes, her bracelet fired. Instead of hitting a pedestrian it hit her sentimonster, which turned into a regular sized copy of her.

"No!" Reflekta cried. She ran forward to the sentimonster.

Ladybug smiled. Now all Cat Noir needed to do was cataclysm the bracelet.

He leapt forward. "Cataclysm!" As he jumped over Reflekta the edge of his hand brushed against her bracelet.

Ladybug watched in horror as he cataclysmed the wrong piece of jewelry. "No! That was the sentimonster, Cat Noir."

"That would have been nice to know," he growled. Cat landed on his feet.

Between them, the sentimonster went berserk, running down the street.

Ladybug reached for her yo-yo. "Why do I have to do everything myself?" she grumbled.

Ladybug swung the yo-yo, striking the real Reflekta's bracelet. A feather and an akuma flew out. After purifying the akuma and feather, Ladybug tossed the mirror in the air.

"Miraculous Ladybug!" After the damage had been fixed, she faced Cat with an angry glare.

"We need to talk."

"We're both about to transform back." Cat's shoulder knocked against her when he walked past.

"Meet me in the sewers." It was one of the few places they could talk while detransformed.

They barely made it. Marinette handed Tikki a macaron from her purse. "What was that?" she asked Cat angrily. "I alway have to fix your mistakes."

"My mistakes?" he retorted from the other side of the wall. "If you'd told me the plan—which was suspiciously similar to mine by the way—I wouldn't have cataclysmed the sentimonster!"

"Ugh, that's your problem! You act without thinking. You're never serious."

"And you're way too serious! You know the ladybugs will fix everything, and you still stress about fighting villains."

What if one of Hawkmoth's akuma's got one or both of the miraculous? She couldn't take that chance. Ladybug definitely couldn't risk Hawkmoth winning over a few stupid jokes.

"Does this not matter to you?" Although Cat couldn't see her, she spread her arms wide in frustration. "Hawkmoth is terrorizing Paris and all you can do is make jokes?"

Cat's tone grew dark. "What's the point of being a superhero if you can't have fun?"

"It's not about having fun, Cat."

"Obviously, you don't know how to have fun." Ladybug could imagine his nose flaring.

"I know how to have fun." Ladybug crossed her arms. "I just know how to handle responsibility better than you!"

"Maybe you need a new partner then!"

"Maybe I do!"

"Fine."

"Cat?"

Cat Noir didn't answer.

"Spots on!" Once she had transformed, Ladybug stick her head around the corner, realizing Cat Noir had taken off.

He hadn't left his ring behind, so she knew he wasn't serious about her finding a new partner.

"Over dramatic, Cat," she scoffed.

When Marinette got home, she barely stayed awake through dinner. Although she still had a ton of Algebra homework to slog through, Marinette climbed up into her bed and fell asleep.

In the Agreste Mansion, Adrien practiced his piano and then Chinese before finally falling in to his bed.

Little did the two teen superheroes know they were going to awaken to an alarming surprise the next morning...
