reliance

(As- samad) -الصمد
the one who we rely on and he relies on none.

when ur stuck on a 10 mark question on your highschool finals, he's the one you turn to.

when ur lying in a hospital bed and your heart beat begins to falter you say, O Allah.

when ur car begins to skid and slide on that slippery road you say O Allah.

when you hear of a death of a loved one you say, O Allah.

we turn to him in times of need, we turn to him in the real situations where we know no human can help us.

when the pilot announces heavy turbulence on a plane even the atheist says, O God. 

no matter who's around, the CEO of THAT company, the president & the queen. You'd never turn to them and tell them to aid you, why? Because you know they can't help one bit. Only Allah swt can change and decide your fate, so you turn to him.

It's only Allah who can help us so why do we even bother with humans? Allah is the one that gave them so why not ask him? Why not ask the source?

Whenever we want to visit anyone important in this dunya, anyone of value in the eyes of humans like the doctor or even your boss, you're told to wait and your put on their waiting list but when it comes to Allah swt you can ask him anytime, any day. Allah is available to us 24/7. So why beg someone who's nothing without Allah's blessings when you have full access to the one who blessed them?

Allah promises us:
[Whoever draws close to Me by the length of a hand, I will draw close to him by the length of an arm. Whoever draws close to Me the by length of an arm, I will draw close to him by the length of a fathom. Whoever comes to Me walking, I will come to him running].
