Bayley's pov:

I'm sitting here against the cold cement wall in the room I've been held captive in for what seems like an eternity. I honestly don't remember how long I've been here but I just keep hoping everyday that I'll make it back to her. Sasha, my Sasha, and my reason for keeping my cool and taking a beating everyday. Everytime they lay a hand on me, I always think of giving up because I know I don't deserve this but then I think about Sasha and that thought quickly goes away. I have to make it back to her, I need to see her beautiful brown eyes and long brown hair. I need to feel her touch again, her soft lips against mine, see the way her face lit up when we were together, everytime we would cuddle and make out for hours. I need her back. I always think about how life turned out for her.

When I was kidnapped however long ago we were happy newlyweds until we had this big fight because of a big misunderstanding. I wonder how she coped with me being gone, of course she probably thought I had abandoned her but that's not what happened, I was taken against my will. I have a marker in my hand as I'm writing down my wife's name. I lay my head against the wall with a tear going down my bruised cheek as memories of me and Sasha flood my mind. I flashback to when Sasha and I had first met, we were in fifth grade and it was the first day of middle school.

- Flashback:

I was sitting in the car with my mother, as I looked at the school nervously, watching kids walking in together talking and laughing. "Nervous baby girl?" my mother asked softly. I nod still looking at the school. "Honey there's nothing to be nervous about. Everything will be ok. And after school we can go out for some ice cream, alright baby girl?" she says as she gently strokes my hair. "I know, I'm just overwhelmed. Becoming a teenager is just a lot" I say looking over at my mom.

"I know it will be hard without Charlotte around but you'll meet new friends who will cheer you up" she says as she gives me a kiss on the forehead. Charlotte was my best friend, my only best friend. We have been best friends since pre-k and she recently just moved because her dad got a different job. Charlotte was the only person who knew about my secret and I confided in her about everything. "I know, I just miss her" I mumble. I then hug my mom and hop out of the car. I blow a kiss to my mom and head into the school to look for my locker.

When I find my locker I am greeted by Ruby, Sarah, and Liv, aka the Riott Squad. They were my bullies from kindergarten to fourth grade, I was hoping not to deal with them again but of course my wish was unfortunately not granted. "Well, well, well, if it isn't our good old pal, Bayley Martinez. It's great to see you again, right Sarah?" Ruby says with a devilish grin on her face. "Yeah, it is. How was your summer, Martinez?" Sarah asked as she stepped toward me.

"It was good..but I gotta get to class.."I say looking down and try walking away but then Ruby shoves me to the ground as her friends laugh and I feel my eyes begin to tear up. "Aww, look at the cry baby on the floor," Ruby says, laughing at me once again. They're about to do something else to me, probably kick me until we hear someone yelling at them to stop.

"Hey! Leave her alone!" I hear an unfamiliar voice say. "Or else what, huh?" Sarah says grinning. Just as she's about to say something the bell rings and a teacher comes out to the halls yelling at us to get to class. The Riott Squad back up and head to class. I'm helped up by the girl who saved me from the Riott Squad. "Thanks" I say as I finally look into her eyes and I instantly feel a connection to her. Her eyes are so beautiful and her smile so bright. "I'm Sasha, what's your name?" she says with her angelic voice. "Bayley, Bayley Martinez. And thank you for saving me from the Riott Squad, may I ask why?" I ask.

"Ask why? What else was I supposed to do, watch an innocent person get beat up? I'm not heartless" she says and I immediately feel calm. "Sorry, it's just that nobody ever helps me, but you...you're different. I appreciate your help" I say as she smiles. When she smiles I can feel my knees go weak and my heart beating rapidly. But why? I honestly have no idea but I can tell were going to be great friends. "Can I ask you something?" I ask her nervously. "Sure!" she says still making eye contact with me. Can we be friends? I know we just met, but, you seem nice and I'd love to get to know you" I say fearing for rejection but also can tell by the person she is that she'll accept because she's just so kind and respectful. "I'd love to!" she says excitedly. We then walk to class together and ever since, we've been inseperable.

- Flashback over:

A tear goes down my cheek. I'm suddenly snapped out of my thoughts when I hear the cell doors open and see a man walk in. "Morning, breakfast is served. But if I see any messes, you'll-" I cut him off. "I'll regret it yeah, I know" I say coldy as I take the tray from him. He then walks out the cell and locks it as I take a glance at the tray, a sandwich and a glass of water again. At least they still give me food, but nothing is as good as the taste of Sasha's soft lips. I really hope she's ok and is living her life, she deserves it after everything she went through with her father. It hurts knowing she may be with someone else and probably has kids now but as long as she's happy, safe, and healthy then I'm ok. I just miss her so much. I would try to escape like I've done plenty of times but it never goes well and each time I even try, the beat downs just get worse so I've stopped. I'll see you again Sasha, and we'll be together again, I promise.

- Author's note:

I hope you're enjoying the story so far! I'm gonna start with using Bayley's pov for the first few chapters to show her side of the story and she'll have memories that explain something more about how she got there, what the fight was about, what her secret is, and if she knows that Sasha was pregnant before she was kidnapped. Anyway, I'll show Sasha's side and what she's been doing without Bayley around.
