Chapter 8 - Revenge

Hey all! Sorry for the delay in uploading; life is hectic right now. I know this is shorter than normal but I wanted to get something posted for you. I'll hopefully get back to semi regular uploads soon.

The Sasuke of this time was still enveloped in the purple aura of his Susano'o. He looked exhausted, blood stained his cheek where his eye had bled, he was breathing heavily, and he was coughing up blood.

Danzo had just evaded another attack using the Izanagi and used Sasuke's exhaustion as a chance to attack. He used his wind release and hit the Susano'o but didn't hurt Sasuke. There was a huge plume of smoke and, once it cleared, Sarada couldn't believe what she was seeing.

"What is that?" She asked as she pointed her finger out into the distance, mouth open in awe. There was a large, extremely large, creature on the other end of the bridge. It was almost like an elephant.

"That is the Vaku." The father daughter duo watched as it opened its large mouth and began to inhale everything around. Sasuke and his Susano'o fought hard to resist the pull.

"Firestyle: Fireball Jutsu!" Sasuke blew a large fireball into the Vaku's mouth, which made it disappear. His Susano'o, on the other hand, blocked a surprise attack from Danzo and swatted him into a nearby pillar.

Sasuke continued his assault on Danzo. There were 4 eyes remaining open on his arm, each attack made an eye close.

Sasuke stood, igniting his Chidori, "How many Uchiha did you have to kill to get that right arm of yours?!"

The two men ran at one another before finally colliding. The Chidori through Danzo, and his wind stream through Sasuke.

"Papa! He is going to-"

But she stopped. While she thought Danzo would use the Jutsu again, he didn't. He stumbled backwards away from Saauke's Chidori blade before collapsing to the ground, blood flowing from his chest.

"How did-"

"Genjutsu is a powerful thing Sarada, whether it's used on a small or large scale. All I did was make Danzo believe he had more eyes to use than he actually did, so he would put himself in danger to try and get me."

Danzo fell to the ground, Sasuke to his knees. Karin rushed over and let Sasuke bite her arm so she could share her chakra with him.

"But the risk was high Papa. He got you too" she pointed to the hole cut through the left side of his chest. Danzo's wind release stabbed him like a blade.

Suddenly trees began to sprout from Danzo's arm from the Hashirama cells becoming unstable, forcing Danzo to break off his right arm. He raised his left hand to unwind the bandages from his right eye, showing a glowing red Sharingan.

Before Sasuke could get him Danzo flash stepped behind Karin and he held her around the neck with his arm. He told Sasuke of his plan for Madara, insinuating that he would not die here.

"Karin, don't move" Sasuke told her in a deadly calm voice. She looked visibly relieved until Sasuke's Chidori blade pierced her chest, cutting through to Danzo's.

Sarada clasped her hands over her mouth as she watched Karin collapse, blood leaking from her mouth. Sasuke had no regard for her, he followed Danzo down the bridge as he tried to run away. There was bloody footprints trailing behind him.

Sasuke walked after him. He was smiling, like he was enjoying the hunt. Danzo had run a short distance down the bridge before collapsing.

"I'm taking Shisui's eye" Sasuke growled. But before he could Danzo ripped open the front of his kimono to reveal a giant curse mark across his chest. Sarada didn't know what it was but a black liquid began to spew from his chest. Sasuke quickly jumped back away from him. It only took a minute and then Danzo was obliterated. That mark was a fail safe, so no one else could have Shisui's eye, even after Danzo's death.

Sarada felt her father's hand on her shoulder, turning her away from the younger version of himself and towards Karin. She was shocked when she saw her mother appear.
