Sasuke sucked in a breath at his daughter's words. He hadn't seen his parent's since the day they were murdered. He didn't have any photos to remember them by, just his memories. It's been twenty years now.

"Y-you want to see them?" he asked. She nodded her head. Sasuke hesitated longer than he wanted to. He couldn't help but stare at his daughter, who resembled his Clan so much, and think of all the heartache he experienced by time he was her age.

"Okay" he said softly. "I'll show you, if that's what you truly want."

He gave her one last squeeze before gently pushing her back. Her face was pink, cheeks wet with tears. He used the sleeve of his shirt to ungraciously help wipe them dry and Sarada couldn't help but laugh a little when he knocked her glasses off.

"S-sorry" he said trying to contain his own laughter as he picked them from the floor. She held her hands out and he gently sat them in her palms so she could put them back on.

"Are you ready?" he asked.

"Mhmm" she hummed with a nod. "Are you coming Mama?"

Sakura gave her a warm smile, "This is for you and your father Sarada. I'll be waiting for you" and she gave her a quick hug before stepping back from them.

Sasuke weaved the hand signs and they were enveloped in the familiar darkness.

They were standing in a busy street, people bustling all around them. The closer she looked she could see the resemblance between them all; dark hair, dark eyes, and the Uchiha crest on each one of their backs.

"This is where I grew up; the Uchiha Compound" Sasuke explained proudly.

Sarada didn't respond immediately, she was too busy taking in the sights around her. "I've never seen so many people who look just like me" she said in awe. Growing up she was always the odd one out. Her mother had pink hair, her best friends and teammates had yellow and white hair. She always felt different.

Sasuke crouched slightly behind Sarada, putting his had on her shoulder to face her in the direction he was looking, "Look there Sarada" he said, "You see the woman walking over there? The one with the bag?"

There was a slender woman across the street from them. She had long black hair falling down her back, her face was soft and kind, and she was walking with two boys. They appeared to be fairly young, the youngest of the two holding her hand. Both looked exactly like her.

"Is that-?"

"That's your grandmother Mikoto, and your Uncle Itachi and I are there with her."

Sarada moved closer, Sasuke shadowing her. As she closed the distance she could see her more clearly, she thought she was beautiful.

"You look just like her Papa."

Sasuke smiled at his daughter's words, "Everyone always said that" he said. "This is right before I started at the Academy. Your mother was taking me to get supplies."

"What about Uncle Itachi?"

"Your Uncle had already graduated. He was in the Anbu Black Ops."

Sarada watched the three in awe. She had never seen other members of her family before now. She could watch them forever.

"I never knew that he was in the Anbu."

"There's a lot I've never told you about them Sarada, and I'm sorry for that."

'Because it still hurts to talk about them' he thought to himself.

The people in front of her faded from view and she was now standing in front of The Leaf Police Force building. It was a two story building, tan in color with insignias etched on the front.

"This is The Leaf Police Force. Your grandfather was chief."

She began to slowly walk up the few steps from the street to the door. As someone was coming out she took the opportunity to slip inside. The vests they were all wearing were similar to the Jonin vests she had seen around the village, along with shin guards, and shirts with the Uchiha crest with what looked like a shuriken behind it.

She walked upstairs and it was a little more quiet, fewer people were up here. She guessed maybe the higher ranking people worked on the second floor. Near the back she spotted the door with the words 'Chief' etched into a plaque beside it. It was open, a man sitting behind the desk inside.

"That's your grandfather, Fugaku."

He was a stoic man, face set in hard lines and a permanent scowl. His hair was slightly lighter, not the deep black like Mikoto, Itachi, and Sasuke. Her father and uncle definitely didn't get their looks from him.

"If everything hadn't happened, I would've joined the Force with him" Sasuke told her. "I didn't think I was cut out for the Anbu like Itachi was."

She couldn't ever imagine him feeling inferior to anyone. He was such a powerful shinobi, he was known in every land just by the mention of his name.

'I suppose that maybe he only became this powerful after everything he went through.'

She watched him for awhile longer, the way he focused while reading paperwork, the quick jagged signatures he scribbled across them.

"Sir, your wife and children are here" said an officer. Sarada didn't hear him coming and he made her jump from surprise. A moment later a young Sasuke came running down the hall, sliding around the corner into the office.

"Father! We brought you lunch!" he announced proudly as Itachi and Mikoto entered the room behind him.

She saw a faint smile tug at Fugaku's mouth. "I see" he said as he stood from his desk.

"The boys wanted to come with me when I brought you lunch" Mikoto explained as she handed over the sack of food. "Itachi is going to practice shuriken with Sasuke until you get home."

"It's training' Sasuke corrected with an eye roll.

Sarada couldn't help but laugh at the younger version of her father, "Now I know what Mama meant about your attitude when you were younger." Sasuke made a mental note to talk to Sakura about that later.

The moment later everything faded to black and she was standing in their living room again. Sarada was still buzzing from the excitement of seeing her family.

"Thank you" she told Sasuke as she hugged him tightly.
