CHAPTER TWENTY THREE - TROUBLE

Natasha POV

I just finished my runaway and head to my locker room when my phone beeps. I saw my brother's name on the screen. I scrolled the green button to answer the call.

"Hello dear sister!" He said to me and I can hear the shuffle sounds from the background. Another voice can be heard and those voices are all familiar to me.

"Give me that!" I can hear my mom's voice who I assumed was snatching the phone from Ethan's.

"Mom??" I asked just to clarify.

"Sweetheart, oh! Just me and your siblings kind of having a little party!" She said and I can hear Sofia little giggles.

"What's really going on with her?" I asked in confusion.

"It's just that... !" Then I can hear other voices on the phone. I assumed it's my sister Sofia this time.

"Hey sis!"

"What on earth are the three of you doing? Where's dad?" I said as I can't even understand what happened now.

"You know, dad and mom just had a little fight. So me and Ethan went up to her but she's very drunk to notice it. So here we are cramps into your condo!" That made my eyes wide as a flying saucer.

"What?"

"Yeah don't freak out ok?" Sofia told me.

"But where's dad now?"

"You know dad, he keeps calling mom but I don't know mom seems to be super upset with him. She just keeps drinking your margarita here and there!" Sofia explained to me.

"Why's Ethan with you?"

"I called him?" More on the question.

"Why my condo?"

"Because mom said you're the only one who's not married. And then Ethan said here that he is not too. But constantly spending time with his new toy apparently!" I can practically imagine her rolling her eyes now.

"You are all duffus you know! But anyway I will be there any minute. My schedule is already done! I just want to sleep and take a rest. But for sure I won't have it any time since you, my super loving and caring family are there to make all my life more chaotic!" I said.

"Hahahahaha... well you better be here. I've been trying to hold you for a one on one interview about life being a girlfriend of a Prince!" My sister Sofia joked with me.

"Very funny!"

"So? Is my niece on the way?"

"Goodness Sofia you almost made me slip on my chair. No, for your answer!"

"I'll hang up now sis! Mom keeps drinking anything here!"

"Why don't you call dad?"

"Just get here!"

All I can hear from the other side is a beeping sound. I sighed as I went to grab my bag and other belongings. I already told Candice to leave early since I can practically take care of myself.

I wonder what's so intriguing about me vacationing in my fake boyfriend's place? Even Emily and Abe want to know about it. They kept bugging me and told me we should have girls night.

Hahahaha girls night my butt for I know the second that they will leave their houses their husbands will be looking and whining about they will be missing them.

I went inside my car and drove all the way to my condo. Just as I clicked the door of my room I saw my family almost passed out on my couch. I raised my brows on them.

"You know if mom and dad have trouble you both should not add on it. Why are you drinking too?" I asked as I put my hands on my side hips.

"Because we want to. But I am far from a drunk sister, don't worry! Carter will come anytime by now to pick me up. So I am going to hand these two to your care!" Sofia said and I gave her a face.

"Huh? Can we call dad? But wait tell me what happened first? Why is mom trying to drown herself in alcohol?"

"Because she saw dad talking to one of his partners. Unfortunately that partner seems to be a woman. It's not actually that bothering when a woman is not a total flirt but you guess it's the contrary. Dad didn't seem to mind when that girl touched him which made mom super ballistic!"

"In short mom got jealous and then they had a fight because of it?"

"Yes yes bravo! You really smart dear sister! You catch up easily!" Sofia clapped her hands.

"You know I almost believe you're not drunk but from the looks of your reaction now. You are far from sober!"

"Hahahahah... of course not!"

"So what will I do to mom? And why is Ethan here?"

"Because he got angry at dad who didn't pay attention to Mom's reaction. You know how Ethan is Mommy's boy!" She chuckled and I shook my head.

My family is sweet, loving and caring but sometimes they are all idiots to the point I wanted to throw them out of my window.

"Oh god! We should just call dad!"

"Dad's been calling us, you know. But mom insisted not to tell him for now. She just wants to be alone away from him. Mom's words, not mine!"

"For goodness sake! How old is that dad's partner anyway?"

"She's way younger sister! And super pretty and sexy!"

"I don't think dad will do something like that to mom. You know how much he loves her!

"Yeah! Apparently Mom's got big jealous bubbles now! Let's just let them be. Maybe mom will come to her senses!"

Just like a cue, my doorbell rings and I assume it's Sofia's husband since she's smiling like an idiot while charging towards my door. Just as she swung it open. I saw my brother-in-law looking all relieved when he spotted his wife.

"Goodness, I've been looking for you, my wife!" He said then kissed her.

"You know, this is my condo and you are at the front door. Why don't you head out? Instead making out here? It's pretty disgusting seeing my sister being molested by her own husband on my doorstep!"

"Hahahaha Very funny Natasha! One Day you will come to know how it feels to have someone kissing like this!"

With that they kissed again and all I have to do is to turn my attention away from them. But not before making a gagging sound from my mouth.
