"I have corrected your tests," Mrs. Lewis announced as she propped the bunch of sheets on the desk. "It is amazing how abysmally you all have performed in English."

"Abysma-" Ashton began to ask with a confused expression.

"Badly," I explained, cutting him off. "Seriously, I don't know how you are still studying in school."

"Hey," he said, in an offended tone. "Don't expect awesome vocabulary."

I shook my head in amazement at him as I chuckled.

Mrs. Lewis called out the names of the students in a creaky monotone - age was really getting her - as we got up and collected their test results from her.

I looked at my sheet. A minus, not bad!

Natalia waved her paper at me as she prattled, "B plus. Guess it's good!" Turning around in her seat to run her fingers through Zayn's hair, she asked, "How much to did you get, babe?"

Zayn smiled at her shyly as he replied, "A plus, love."

Of course, he did. He never scored anything but an A or an A plus. I don't know why Natalia bothered asking him.

"Ooh, all the Asians have scored gotten As, as expected," cried Ashton as he peeked into my test paper.

I raised an eyebrow at him. "Well, someone has to, since you guys can't even manage a B, despite English being your first language."

"I got an A," Calum declared as he plopped down on the seat next to me.

"See, all the Asians have gotten As." Ashton doubled over, laughing at his won joke as Niall, who was sat next to me, put his fist to his mouth, trying to stop his guffaws.

I couldn't help but giggle as well when I saw Calum looking purely disgusted at Ashton's little jest.

"Awww, don't trouble him," Janet cooed as she sat down next to Calum and lightly traced his back. Needless to say, Calum's mood improved instantaneously.

From somewhere behind me, I heard a hoarse but very audible whisper. "Blowjob Janet strikes again. Looks like Calum's gonna get some."

Janet stopped making lines down Calum's back and replied, "Yeah, but no buns for you, hun." We all burst out laughing and as I turned around, I saw that Shahid Khan, the guy who had let out that loose comment, was red in the face.

"Liam, it's alright, it's not even a big deal," I heard Rachel say in a soothing tone from behind.

I turned around. "What happened?"

"Liam got a B minus in his test," Rachel pouted sadly.

"Mrs. Lewis told me that I add too many extra letters - and that my essays are very random! What could she possibly mean by that?"

"Er, Liam," I said uncertainly as I tried to calm him down. "I'm sure you'll do well in the next test. It's okay." I smiled at him for extra effect.

"Really? Thank you, I hope so!" Liam beamed at me.

Alexandra tapped me on the shoulder and we were then in a heated conversation about a cute guy who came to the salon where she worked as a hairdresser.

"And then?" I asked agitatedly when Alex stopped talking midway.

"Nothing, just." She stopped uncertainly.

I frowned at her. "What?"

"Why is Harry Styles staring at you?" she finally asked with a confused expression.
