the voice of her dance instructor cut through her song, blasting out of the speaker in the room. Crystal sighed deeply and glared at the lady through the mirror while pushing her curls out of her face. "What did I do wrong this time?" she said, the irritation clear in her voice. Crystal and her instructor have kind of a love-hate relationship. The hate between the two usually came out when they were practicing.
Nari, the instructor went beside her and very aggressively showed her the part she missed, glaring at her through the mirror the whole time. Crystal rolled her eyes and did the step, glancing at the older woman for her approval before she nodded. "Replay the song please," she said as she got in position, and once the song started, Crystal had her game face on as she danced, smirking when she saw her instructor drooling at her.
The song itself was sort of a sexy song but certain parts of the dance were mouth-watering for some people and that was the goal. Crystal smirked as she looked at the mirror with her siren eyes and her back arched for the ending. Once the song was about to start again, she got up and turned around to Nari with an innocent smile "Was that good?" Nari shook her head to get out of her little world before nodding at Crystal "Perfect. let's go through the fourth song once more then you're all good."
Crystal nodded softly before she got in position right in the middle as soon as the beat dropped, her body began to move along. Her movements were smooth and her body moved like water as if the beat was the one pulling her strings and she was simply a puppet. She finished with a smirk on her lips as the beat faded out. Crystal once again turned to Nari who had an approving look on her face.
Crystal nodded and went to her little corner and took a sip of her water after fighting with her hair to get it out of her face. She wanted to flat iron it in the morning so it was more manageable but that took an hour she didn't have so she left it out.
After drinking almost her whole bottle, she got all her stuff ready to go after putting her hair in as much of a ponytail as it would allow. She saw Nari saying goodbye to the few backup dancers that were there. Crystal waved at them as they left then went on her phone. It was relatively early for her since she was usually a night owl which meant maybe her friends were up. She looked down at her phone and texted one of her most recent contacts

she giggled happily and did a little wiggle, happy she was getting one of her favorite snacks. She then bid Nari goodbyes she left into the waiting van to take her home. She chatted softly with the driver since they were good friends, first bonding over their love for spicy street food. When they finally arrived, she bid the man farewell and went up to her apartment.
She sighed softly as she took off her shoes and was met with her 4-month-old puppy's small barks. She had gotten him because her mother's dog got pregnant when she was young by a stray. Her baby -which she named Pua after the little pig from Moana- was a pit bull and bulldog mix, the bulldog being a stray.
