~ 1 Year before ~
Oliver was walking to his room, his parents yelling had always annoyed him. He put his headphones on, it helped block out most of the noise now all it sounds to him are muffled noises.
"O-Oli," a muffled small voice asked.
"Yes, Jaxson?" Oliver asked taking off his headphones, worried his younger brother had always had nightmares after hearing their parents "argue" .
"Can I stay in-" a large crash was heard. Oliver, anxious for his brother, swiftly grabbed his hand and ran down the stairs. Only to see his mother kicking their father out of the house.
Oliver's father wasn't the nicest human being, had he abused his mother but never him or Jaxson, Oliver thought it was because they were boys, his father was very sexist thinking it was a womans job to keep the house clean and if he ever found out Oliver liked boys, Oliver would be dead.
"Mom..? Are you ok, are you gonna divorce dad..?" Oliver asked slowly.
"Yes, yes I am, I can't stand his bulshit anymore." Oliver's mother said in a quiet yet firm tone.
~ Present ~
Oliver was playing a new otome game that had just come out, it was called DYNASTY. Oliver was enjoying it. This was a first, considering the fact he rarely plays digital games. He was enjoying it, however he doesn't like the protagonist that much yet they had a specific personality not one he could customize.
"Huh?" Oliver muttered, there was a light in his room almost like a.. Star?
"What's this?" Oliver questioned as he went close to the light.
Oliver screamed, for he was being sucked into the star. Oliver's vision started to fade and it all went black.
