She said anything can save her,
She lied there's no savior.
She says she's okay,
But as time passes she throws the day away.
She says she isn't alone,
But who's there to hold her when she's home?
She secretly suffers and cries when no ones around,
She can't help that she's been feeling down.
She dreams of a friend to speak to her,
But no one talks they mustn't know the words.
Yet she speaks but all is unheard,
Someone please hear her.
She wants to cherish a warm smile,
One no one has seen for awhile.
She sings to herself of joy,
But to everyone she's a toy.
She doesn't wanna feel used,
She had it enough when she was abused.
With a mother who hates her,
A mother who insults her.
A father that wouldn't care for her,
Who says she's a loser.
No friends who she can share a laugh,
No one she can share the joy she had.
She wishes maybe someone would realize it's her,
She feels invisible and wishes she was heard.
She wants someone to catch her lies,
Of all the pain she hides.
Hold her tight,
And let her know it's alright.
Yet she sits and fakes a smile,
If she makes contact she wishes they'd stay awhile.
Spend a moment please don't let it pass,
She wants a single moment that will last.
Still she'll never know what she's wants to save her so,
She wants anything.
Anything at all,
She wants anything to break past her wall.
