Mask

Strange wonders kept my eyes open for so long,
To be blinded by darkness and the mask you have on.
I'd like to know you strange figure of the night,
But if I knew who you are would it be alright?
Do you think that I am someone you may know,
Or are you confused and curious of what I show.
I am passionate and sweet yet gentle like the flower,
I am the one person you thought had no power.
I'm the person you thought was not to exist,
The girl who listens and her presence is your gift.
Though people aren't aware because all they do is see,
Would I mean to you as the person I'm meant to be?
I wear no mask I'm a girl of honesty,
My pages are for the world from the weak to our majesty.
So please may I ask you to rid of your mask,
Reveal yourself as who you are not of your past.
I wish to know the true meaning behind an act,
But what goes to show when the truth is what you lack.
Let me see the aura of ones heart,
Then we may speak but only one knows if we depart.
