"Guess I have a party tomorrow." I said to myself, closing my eyes.

I ran over to Miriam and Abby, yelling not anything in particular just yelling.
"Woah, what's wrong?" Miriam asked with a slightly concerned look on her face.
"Yah, did someone punch you?" Abby asked smiling aggressively.
"No, I just wanted to ask if you guys are walking to the party? Cuz I can meet y'all somewhere?" I fiddled with the bracelet on my wrist, waiting for a response.
"Yeah, we can meet you at dAiSy MaRt? Miriam said the last word like she was hypnotised.
"Heh, sure. See y'all there at 5:45!" I yelled running off. I jumped into my Mom's car. The backseat because my brother got the front. I lay down long ways, and I still managed to put the seatbelt on.
"I'm amazing!" I said to myself.
"That some bullshi-" My brother got cut off by Mom.
"No swearing, Tony!" She yelled as we drove over a speed bump. It is silent. And I was very much enjoying this silence until someone broke it in the most annoying way possible.
"So y/n... you have a boyfriend~" he teased.
"He isn't my boyfriend!" I screamed, but not too loud.
He was about to say something when Mom elbowed him and shook her head.
"Puh, okay then..." he mumbled.

I was walking along the main path to meet Miriam, Abby, and I think Priya? I saw them all outside peeking through the glass, staring at that Devon guy. "Why don't y'all just go talk to him?" I stand behind them.
"AUHHHHHAHUHHHAAA!" They all screamed but then saw it was me and stopped. Devon was staring outside the window curiously.
"Devon's looking at you guys." I whispered.
They all turned their heads towards me and stood up.
"We're going!" Miriam yelled grabbing our arms and dragging us in the direction of Tyler's house. We were just mucking around like we were drunk on the way there.
"Y/n truth or dare?" Miriam asked, smiling mischievously.
"Uh...t- no, dare." I confirmed.
They all looked at eachother in an evil way before Miriam spoke up.
"I dare you, to tell us... if you like Tyler?" She said fist pumping Abby.
"I- Uhm... Of course I like him! He's a really good friend." I found a way to get out of the question.
"Oh look it's Tyler's house! Come on!" now I was the one dragging them.

Mei wasn't here yet and we were just sitting on the sofa bored as hell. Well except for Miriam, Abby, Priya and me. We were trying to keep everyone from leaving. Priya was dancing and Miriam offered to play boggle. Me and Abby were beatboxing.
"Where is she?" Tyler grumbled, mainly to himself.
People started standing up and leaving.
"Uh, I knew she would flake." Tyler said angrily.
A knock on the door was heard and Tyler got up and walked towards the door happily.
"It's about time." He said opening the door with a smile but was immediately shut down at the sight of Mei in a panda costume. Everyone's smiles turned into a confused frown.
"Yo! What up!" Mei panted as she waddled inside.
"What are you wearing?" Tyler asked almost disgusted.
"Hey Tyler! Happy birthday!" Mei said adjusting her 'head' nervously.
"I'm paying for the Red Panda, not this garbage!" He gestured his hands towards her.
"Deals off!" He said crossing his arms.
"Wait! Can garbage do this?" Mei started dancing weirdly, not gonna lie, I was getting second hand embarrassment.
"Or this? Stiiir the porridge! Come on guys! Stirr the- ahh" We pulled her into the corner and asked her what was wrong. She said she couldn't panda anymore.
"That's okay, we'll figure something out." Miriam assured her.
"I won't go." Priya said looking at the ground.
"What? No Priya Jesse is your soulmate!" Mei said.
"Then I won't go!" Abby said staring down angrily.
"Guys if we can't all go then none of us should." Miriam said sadly. I looked at my feet and I felt tears threaten to fall.
"Just one more time..." Mei whispered to herself.
"Hey Tyler! You want the panda your getting the panda!" Mei walked over to him and pink smoke blew outwards as a red panda replaced her.
"Let's hear it for the birthday boy!" Mei yelled picking up Tyler and resting him on her shoulder, as everyone started to cheer. We were all standing in the sides hyping up Tyler as he danced shyly.
"Woooo!" Mei yelled throwing her hands around.
Eventually he came around and started dancing with no fear. The party was actually pretty fun. Mei was giving everyone rides around the backyard.

Mei, Mir, Abby, Priya and I were eating a cake with Tyler's face on it, staring at the city talking about the concert.
"You da bomb."
"Word, you da bomb, Mei."
"No your da bomb"
"We're all da bomb!" Miriam laughed.
The guy on the radio was talking about the 4*TOWN concert, but he said the 25th.
"Abby, you said it was on the 18th!" Mei rushed over to Abby.
"It is! He's wrong! See! 18th Toronto!" She said waving a flyer in front of Mei's face.
"That says Toledo!" Mei yelled.
"What?! UHH WHATS TOLEDO ANYWAY?!" Abby yelled running around.
"It's the same night as the ritual!" Mei was panicking.
"Its okay Mei-" Miriam comforted her.
"No it's not!" She screamed.
"Hey! What are you doing we want more rides!" Tyler yelled from below.
"Buzz off jerk face, I'm busy." Mei was trying her best to hold in her anger. People started to whisper and laugh.
"Oho, you gonna take that Tyler?" A guy elbowed him.
"You want your money? Then get your but down here now!" He yelled again.
"Forget your money and forget you!" She pointed at him with hatred in her eyes.
"Mei, let's just go, Miriam started.
Mei grunted pushing towards the edge of the roof, with only us pushing her back.
"What about our deal?" Tyler asked, looking angry.
"Shove your deal!" Mei screamed as she started walking away.
"Fine get outta here, go back to your psycho Mom and- and your creepy temple you freak!" He had gone too far and now Mei was raging. She jumped off the roof onto to Tyler accidentally scratching him across the face.
"TAKE IT BACK! DONT TALK ABOUT MY FAMILY LIKE THAT!" Mei screamed holding Tyler by his shoulders shaking him. We slid off the roof a bit behind Mei.
"Mei Mei, stop! What is going on here?" Her Mom yelled running towards her. Tyler was crying as Mei let go of his shoulders, he stay lay on the ground.
"I'm sorry, j- just get off of me, please?" He sobbed covering his face. Mei stared down at him, realising what she had just done. People backed away from her scared. She stared at her hands and got off of Tyler, changing back as she ran to her Mom. I walked over to Tyler helping him sit up.
"Are you okay?" I asked quietly, crouching down beside him. He looked away, probably embarrassed. I sighed placing my hand on top of his. He looked at me, a scar on his cheek. I reached my hand towards his face wiping away a tear. I smiled at him slightly, before his parents came running towards him.
"I'll see you next week. Call me if you need anything." I whispered, walking away to Mir, Priya and Abby.

Tyler's parents were yelling at Mei's Mom. Mei stood away from us closer to her Mom and Tyler was in between both his parents.
"She is a monster!" His Mom yelled walking inside.
Mei's Mom walked right past Mei and towards us.
"I can't believe you girls would use her like this" she said glaring daggers into us.
"What?"
"But we didn't."
"No we'd never!"
"We didn't use her."
We all defended ourselves.
Mei ran up to us but her Mom held her back.
"I knew you were trouble, putting all these thoughts into Mei-Mei's head, parading her around. Now she's lying, sneaking out! She attacked a defenceless boy! You think this is a joke, do you know how dangerous this is?" She yelled.
"We-we didn't mean to we just wanted to see 4*TOWN." Mir said, pleading for her to believe.
"4*TOWN! You manipulated her for a bunch of tacky delinquents?!" Ming yelled.
"No! She wanted to!" Miriam defended.
"Don't you blame her! She is a good girl, and you've taken advantage of her." Ming said wrapping Mei in her arms.
"Mei, tell her!" Miriam begged.
Mei looked up at her Mom as a worried expression crossed her face. She looked back at us then turned her head and rested it on her Mom's chest.
"What?"
"Dude!"
I sighed looking at my friends sympathetically.
"Come on Mei-Mei!" Her Mom walked off glaring at us.
"Let's go." She reached her hand out to Mei.
She took it, and walked alongside her mother. We watched as they drove off. 'I hope she knows what she did.' I thought.

A/N
Imma try to post a chapter everyday but I have school so I'm sorry I can't post more. School ends in a few days so I hope I can post more chapters a day then. Anyways thanks for reading!
