(A/N: Hey, fellow reader. I was really bored on the weekend, so I thought I might explain how the NCPD van's cover name 'Rocky Dangerbuff's Cakes on the Sidewalk' came to life. I know I said it was only on FanFiction.net, but I was bored trying to write new material, and decided to put it up on wattpad as well)

--------

It had been a day since the NCPD Headquarters had been attacked with the attempted kidnapping of Callen, followed by information from Scars about an illegal gambling ring that Senator Warnie Pantub, an old friend of Misako's and a candidate for mayor, was scheduled to attend the following day. But, in order to infiltrate it, as well as survey it, they would need a cover.

--------

In the garage at Borg Tower, Zane and Cole were looking at a white van that some of the officers and Mantis had released from the impound yard. "Where did you get this?" Cole asked.

"Drug dealers disguised black cocaine as printer cartridges." Mantis replied, getting out of the van from behind. "Cleaned it up as best as we could, just in time for tomorrow night."

"There is one logical thing you forgot to input." Zane said.

"And what's that?"

"A cover."

Mantis was confused. "What?"

"Thanks to Blake, I have downloaded many spy movies and novels, and they all have vans with cover names on them to remain incognito."

"Say like there is a fake or new company, but it actually had surveillance equipment inside." Cole said. "Yet, you need to be careful with what you put on there, as some people might end up blowing your cover."

"Cole does make a point, Mantis." Navis said, coming up to them. "I suggest you put a cover name on the side of the van, maybe even give it a new paint job beforehand. They did put the bodywork back on with fibreglass after searching for more cocaine bricks in it."

Mantis soon sighed. "Very well." He replied. "Just need to think of a few things."

"Ooh, I got it!" Cole said. "How about 'Rocky Dangerbuff's Gym Equipment Delivery'?" They all look at him with confusion. "What? Too long?"

"Too obvious." Zane replied. "Though, I like the Rocky Dangerbuff part."

"Why not... 'Rocky Dangerbuff's Assorted Donuts'?" Navis asked.

"No."

"'Rocky Dangerbuff's Pizza'?" Mantis asked.

"Too boring. Exclude 'Rocky Dangerbuff's Barista Van', because we're no coffee experts."

"'Rocky Dangerbuff's Wisdom in Teas'?"

"We worked at a tea shop, once." Cole said. "Thought of using it ain't my cup of tea." He thinks a bit before becoming wide eyed and clicked his fingers. "I got it! How about... 'Rocky Dangerbuff's Cakes on the Sidewalk'?" Mantis and Navis soon start to laugh. "What?"

"Too funny!" They both said.

Zane looks at Cole, confused. "Why 'Rocky Dangerbuff's Cakes on the Sidewalk'?" He asked.

"Because, I like cake." Cole simply replied.

Eventually, Mantis and Navis stop laughing. "I like it." Navis said.

"Definitely." Mantis said. "'Rocky Dangerbuff's Cakes on the Sidewalk', it is."

"I'll give Dareth a call, see if he can get the professional makeup team to do you up for the photos." Zane said to Cole.

"Uh, photos?" He asked.

"Well, we need to put the advertisement on the van." Navis replied. "So, we better start."

--------

Within hours, Cole was wearing his signature fake moustache, along with white chef's hat, white chef's jacket, grey jeans, black boots, and orange apron, holding a cake in his right hand and left hand on his hip while on the set of a sidewalk as a photographer was taking photos of his poses. "Ooh, that's it, Cole, just move the cake to the side a bit more." The photographer said.

"I can't help it!" He replied. "It's so good."

Zane and Mantis, who were nearby, turn to Dareth, who had a nightcap and brown robe on. "Sorry we dragged you out of bed for this last minute thing." Mantis said.

"The Brown Ninja is always on hand to help you guys." Dareth replied, flexing a muscle.

"Uh, did anyone tell Cole the cake he's holding is made of plastic?" Zane asked, knowing what he plans to do.

Chomping is soon heard. "Ew, plastic!" Cole was heard as they all turn to see his picture taking was finished.

--------

The following morning, Zane and Mantis were peeling away plastic from the side of the van before looking at what was behind the plastic, now on the van. It was the image of Cole with his cake in his right hand and left hand on his hip. "Fantastic." Zane and Mantis said before they fist bump, but Zane's hard skin makes Mantis cringe a little.

"Now, let's start setting up the equipment inside." Mantis said, rubbing his sore knuckles.

"Affirmative." Zane replied before they walk away from the van to grab the equipment.
