(A/N: Some of you may be wondering why I described Maggie's new ring, well, here it is)

It had been a few hours since the loss of Geoff, at the hands of Chongbai Yether. The other Ninja had gone to sleep, but Maggie couldn't. She was in her dead fiancé's bedroom, wanting to get every last scent of him, even if it meant they might potentially have to recruit an Elemental Master to take his place, a decision she was completely against, since no one can replace the Blind Ninja. She lied on his bed, holding his favourite jacket that he, for some reason, hadn't worn for an entire year after her birthday, crying into it, and hoping to get the raspberry scented deodorant he would use all the time since it was his favourite fruit. But, she was still crying into it, a clatter was soon heard, which made her move the jacket away from her, and saw what was on the floor. It was ring case. She got off the bed and knelt down to pick it up before opening it. It was a ring with a citrine. Instantly, she knew it was an engagement ring. But, as she was busy looking at it, she didn't hear the door open, and Dragon stepped in. "I was wondering where you were." He said, but she didn't flinch. "And I knew, you wanted to be close to every single inch of him." Dragon walks in before noticing the ring case in her hand. "Ah, so that's where he kept the ring."
Maggie turned to him, completely surprised. "You knew?" She asked.
"The day before your 22nd birthday."

14 Months Earlier
Geoff was looking at the engagement ring that he had in his hand while trying to think of a speech before he proposes to her. "What is that you got there?" Dragon's voice made Geoff yelp and turned to see his master at the doorway. "Isn't that an engagement ring?"
"Uh, no." He replied, lying while trying to hide it behind his back. Noticing his master's suspicious glare, Geoff soon sighed and showed it to him. "Yes."
"You want to propose to Maggie, don't you?"
"Yes. Since it's her birthday today, I thought this might make the perfect gift, but, I'm not so sure. It's either this, or these hairbands." Geoff shows Dragon a pair of hairbands. He looks at them to see engravings on the clips, marked 'G&M' on both. "I sometimes think whether to just give these to her, then propose to her, a week later, on Day of the Departed."
"Are you sure you want to do that?"
"Positive."
"Go with what you think, then do it." Dragon then moves aside. "Come, there is a lot to do before she arrives."

A few hours later, with the team surprising Maggie, who had came back after spending lunch with her father for her birthday, Geoff decided to give her his gift last. So far, Maggie had gotten a set of lemon scented candles from Lloyd and Gewuji that Lloyd thought would be perfect for her room, a lemon flavoured cake made by Zane, a necklace that had her first initial from Kai and Nya, a gift card from Cole, Blake and Cirrus since they couldn't think of what kind of gift to give her, a copy of her childhood comic book called the Eternal Realm, signed by the author, from Jay. But when it came to Geoff, who had the ring case in one jacket pocket and the engraved hairbands in the other. He thinks for a bit before pulling his left hand out to show her the hairbands.

Present
Maggie looks in the mirror to see the engraved hairbands before smiling. "He could've given both gifts to me, that day." She said. "That way, to this day, we would be married. I was the one that caught the bouquet at Jay and Nya's wedding."
"Although you will find someone else meant for you, just know that Geoff truly was the man you loved." Dragon replied before walking out. Maggie sighed as she looked at the ring, and then the broken key Geoff used to propose to her before taking it off, puts it aside, and puts the engagement ring on, smiling before heading off to bed, leaving the key ring and case behind.
