Chapter 24

~Zoe's POV~
I wake up slowly and sit up. I sit there for a second before a wave of nausea hits me. I get up and run to the bathroom. I sit down and through up in the toilet.

I finish an stand up and over to the sink. I lean over the sink and splash cold water on my face. I walk out of the bathroom and sit on the bed. I turn to tv on and turn the volume down some because I had a headache. I sit and think about everything that had happened in the last couple months.

I go to fall asleep when some one bust into my room. I sit up as fast a I can. I look at the door and there standing in the door way was Zane. I jump of the bed and run over to him crying.

"Shhh baby it's gonna be ok now. I'm here." he says rubbing my back. I hug him tightly and my sobs start to slow a little. He picks me up bridal style and carries me downstairs. I look around and there are limp body's every where.

I look over to a corner where some one has Daniel pinned to the ground.
I look away and try not to look at him. Zane stops to say something. While he is talking a voice pops into my head. "Baby don't let them do this to me. Please The baby needs its father in its life."

I look up and see Daniel looking at me with pleading eyes. What did he mean by that? Zane goes to walk away but another wave of nausea comes over me and I run out of his arms and I to the nearest bathroom. I through up agin and Zane is right here by me holding my hair for me.

He picks me back up and carries me to the truck. I smile when I notice what truck he's driving. It was my black Z71. I hadn't drove that truck in forever.

He puts me in the truck and gets in the truck. "why would you do this to me." he says looking at me with mad but sad eyes at the same time. I look at him confused. " your carrying that vampires baby Zoe! How could you?? You WERE the Luna of our pack! Now your just a disgrace to the pack!"

I wake up with a jump. I have had the same nightmare since Zane rescued me almost 9 months ago. I look at the clock and it says 9:45. I go to get out of bed with a contraction hits me. I have been having contractions all week long but here lately they have been worse then usually.

I slowly get out of the bed and go take a shower. I get undressed and then I have another contraction. I groan and get on the shower. I step in the shower and go to wash my hair when another contraction hits me. I wash my hair and rinse it wen another contraction hits me.

I go to call for Zane when a contraction hits me and I groan. Then my water breaks. Zane runs into the bathroom. "hey what's wrong?" He asked me while helping me out of the shower. "its time." is all I could say before I duffle over in pain.

Zane helps me get dressed and helps me to the pack doctor. He puts me in a bed and sees how far along I am. " well in a few you to will be parents." the doctor says before leaving. The nurse comes in and gives me something for the pain and say I can take a small nap if I'd like to and of corse when she said that I pasted back out.

I wake up and find Zane passed out in one of the chairs. Before I can do anything a contraction hits me. Its is one of the worst pains I have ever felt in my life. The nurse rushes in and checks on me. She gets one look at me and runs out.

After a few more minutes the doctor comes in. "you ready to be a mother?"
A contraction hits me and the doctor send me to the delivery room while some nurses try to wake up Zane.

They finish getting me ready a Zane walks in. "Hey baby. you ok?" He say walking over and rubbing my for-head.
"Do I look like I'm ok!?!." I yell at him. The nurse laughs "Zane it's fine it just her hormones messing with her." He kinda just laughs in response and hold my hand.

The doctor comes in and tells me something but a contraction hits me and I don't hear what he says. Another contraction hits me and I squeeze Zane hand. The doctor gives me somethin that makes my a little sleepy and slowly drift to sleep.
