Heyyy! This is kind of a way for me to deal with my gender dysphoria,if you're uncomfortable with this topic please skip to the next chapter <3
(Yes,raihan is trans in this,again if you dont like that, just skip the chapter :/)

Raihan and Leon were both together in the locker room,sharing good a laugh after a battle.

In the moment,Raihan forgot about something very important,and without thinking it twice,he slipped his shirt off,you know,as people do.

Leon's eyes widened at the sight. He'd never seen such big scars on someone before.

After about 3 seconds of just Leon blankly staring,Raihan finally realized what he'd done,and quickly turned around to put his hoodie on.

"Raihan..? Did you get hurt?" Leon spoke up in a genuine conflicted and worried tone.

All Raihan could do was try his best to not make eye contact,which signaled leon that maybe his friend wasn't comfortable talking about it.

"No i-..im fine"

The air got thinner and a moment of silence,awkward silence,was exchanged.

Leon's thoughts were filled with regret,why did he have to ask?
Raihan put on his airpods and grabbed his shirt,placed it over his shoulder and quietly exited the room.

As soon as Leon got home, he flopped onto his bed and started thinking. The scars seemed familiar,he just couldn't remember where he had seen them.

Leon entered the locker room only to find his best friend,sitting on the bench with a rather gloomy look on his face. He tried not to make eye contact,but he was still worried nonetheless.

"Oi, whatcha' thinking about?" Leon spoke as he fetched his water bottle out of his locker,before sitting down besides his rival.

"Nothing important really,just...i guess personal problems or something i dunno' really"
Raihan presses his back against the wall,running a hand through his hair.

A moment of awkward silence was experienced,leon didn't really know how to respond to that.

"Leon.?"
"Hm?"
"Have you ever,,,felt..out of place?"
Leon was a bit confused , why was he asking this? Was Raihan not happy with being a gym leader,with what he does?

"Like,you're not who you're supposed to be and you just- you just cant figure out how to make that feeling go away and its eating you up slowly and you just want to be able to understand who you truly a-

Raihan's tone got lower and he sped up,almost like he was just gonna go on rambling about this. Leon's eyebrows furrowed in worry,and he cut his friend off.

"Raihan..? Are you not happy with ..who you are?.."

The two trainers finally locked their gazes. Leon could see the hurt through the other's eyes,followed by the slightest hint of Raihan's eyes getting watery.

Raihan quickly looked away and wiped his eyes as fast as he could,but leon only seemed to get closer to him.

"Hey,im here,theres nobody else,just,please..tell me whats going on, i want to help."

Raihan sighs heavily

"I...dont like who i am. I- hate me- i hate my body,i hate how i look,how i act,everything!"

Raihan finally let the tears escape his eyes,his voice got lower and he found himself slightly gasping for air.

Leon finally realized what had happened,the scars- this,everything clicked.

"Raihan,,you're..transgender right?"
Raihan is actually a bit surprised that Leon figured it out,he didn't think Leon would be so oriented when it came to these topics.

"yeah,-i- i am..- look man im sorry i didnt tell you earlier i just didn't know how you'd react an-"

"rai,its okay ,i dont hate you for it" The champion shot a smile at the dragon trainer in an attempt to get one back.

"im,really,really proud of you Raihan. No matter who you were or who you are now,you'll always be the Raihan i know and Love."

Raihan's eyes seemed to be tearing up even more than before,and finally,Leon recieved that toothy smile he was aching to see.

Before Leon could react,Raihan was already embracing him in a warm hug

"You have- no fucking idea how much that means to me lee,i- thankyou.."
