“What took you so long?” Jake was instantly greeted by a grumpy Sunghoon as soon as he stepped inside the mansion.

“Sorry, some stuff happened,” Jake spoke and briefly waved the blazer at Sunghoon before making his way to a particular room.

“That's not yours?” Sunghoon asked while following him from behind.

“It clearly doesn't match my dress code. It belongs to a lady I met earlier today,” Jake sighed.

“At the bar? Again? Gosh, will you ever stop going there?” Sunghoon sneered.

“I didn't do anything to her,” Jake defended himself, “She just forgot her blazer and Taewoo insisted that I keep it since he thought she was my next target.”

“Oh, did he?” Sunghoon scoffed and folded his arms in disbelief.

“He did. Maybe I was staring at her a little bit too long. She really got Taewoo head over heels when she spoke with him. Not to mention she called me handsome right before she left,” Jake spoke while continuing to walk to his destination.

“Maybe she likes you,” Sunghoon cackled.

“You wish. I'm pretty sure she has the same intention as I do when I hit on other people,” Jake snickered and swung open the door in front of him, leading the two of them into the backyard where their other friend, also the owner of the mansion they were in, was meditating.

“Where's Heeseung?” Jay asked upon opening his eyes to see Sunghoon with only Jake.

“I called him on my way here. He said that he'd be...several minutes late,” Jake answered.

“He said that he was just getting ready, didn't he?” Sunghoon queried discreetly. Jake nodded with a dumb smile before making his way further into the backyard.

Jay immediately snatched the blazer from Jake's hands and examined it carefully.

“This is a crimson XL woman's blazer designed by me. Why do you have it with you?” Jay asked, arching his brow.

“Uh...” Jake rubbed his nape.

“He got it from a girl he was flirting with at the bar,” Sunghoon answered confidently.

“I wasn't flirting. She forgot it and the bartender told me to take it with me so that I could return it to her myself,” Jake spoke.

“Are you going to hit on her when she comes to you?” Jay asked while handing it back to Jake.

“It depends,” Jake cleared his throat before taking a seat not far from Jay, “So, how's it going with you and Erica?” He hesitantly asked.

“We broke up,” Jay bluntly answered.

“What?! But I thought she said that she needed time to think about it. What are you going to do with the ring? Return it?” Sunghoon widened his eyes.

Jay turned to him, “What does she have to think about? I loved her and gave her everything she wanted. I could take care of her and she could live a peaceful life if we got married. I figured that I was going out with a gold digger who doesn't want to be in a real relationship so I had no other choice.”

“Wow, I'm offended,” Jake folded his arms.

Jay scoffed, “You're rich, not a gold digger, shut up.”

Jake laughed before comforting the latter, “I know how it feels to be taken advantage of. Don't feel too upset about it because that won't do anything. Instead, encourage yourself because you did the right thing letting her go.”

Sunghoon smirked at his words, “I always ask myself if you'd glow up and become this confident and flirty if it weren't for Jenny.”

Jake rolled his eyes, “Don't mention her while I'm around, how many times do I have to say that?”

Sunghoon chuckled, “My bad. I guess I'll never know how it feels to be taken advantage of because I'm not as rich as you two are.”

Jay snickered, “Don't compare yourself. It's actually because you always reject the ones who try to ask you out.”

“Sorry but being in a relationship is not my thing,” Sunghoon smiled.

Everything went silent as the three of them sat on their seats in peace.

“I suppose our friend group is back to being The Singlez,” Jake laughed.

“Heeseung has a girlfriend, you know?” Jay reminded the latter.

“Oh, I forgot. What was her name again?” Jake asked.

“Ha Soojin? I'm not sure about her surname but she's a Soojin,” Sunghoon yawned and stretched while answering.

Jay nodded, “He mentioned that she works as a nurse in the hospital he stayed at while he was recovering. We got the chance to meet her while you were having a "vacation".”

“Did I miss out on stuff that much?” Jake questioned, his voice cracking.

“Very,” Jay exhaled and glanced at the iPad beside him to see that Heeseung was outside of the gate, “Here he is. Jake, you go and greet him.”

“Eunjo, my child, how have you been?” Aeri exclaimed as she carried the toddler.

Eunhye snickered, “Your child, yeah, right.”

Aeri giggled before continuing to fool around with the four year old boy.

Soojin smiled at the two and turned to Eunhye, “I thought you said that your mom was coming over to take him over to their place?”

“Ah, yes. She just went to the neighbour's to say hi. So, where are we going?” Eunhye asked.

“We'll just roam around the town like back in high school,” Jiyoung spoke, “Can I go to the balcony and have a smoke?” She asked.

“Sure, go on,” Eunhye nodded.

Soojin sighed before sitting down on the couch. “Do you guys want to drink anything?” Eunhye asked.

“I'm good,” Soojin shook her head.

“Can I have a glass of water?” Aeri spoke and stood up straight after watching Eunjo run into a room.

“Ooh, are the girls here?” Eunhye's mother walked in the apartment.

“Aunt, have you been well?” Soojin stood up from her seat and greeted her.

“I have. Thanks for asking, dear,” she smiled.

“How did you know they were here?” Eunhye chuckled while handing a glass of water to Aeri.

“Jiyoung and the smell of smoke, of course.”

Aeri cackled, “I apologise in behalf of her.”

The sun was already setting when Aeri silently panicked as the heels of her shoes rapidly came in contact with the floor. She opened the door to the bar and walked up to the bartender.

“Hey, Taewoo. Did I happen to leave my blazer in here?” She asked.

“Uhm...yeah. One of the customers took it with them. You can go over to their place to pick it up.”

“Okay, what's their address?”

Taewoo smiled as he gave her Jake's address. “Good luck,” he added.

“Thanks a lot,” she grinned and turned around to leave and hire a cab in a rush.

She had second thoughts as soon as she was standing in front of a decent looking mansion. Isn't this street filled with rich people? She hesitantly rang the doorbell.

Aeri furrowed her brows when the door opened and revealed a cocky looking Jake.

“You finally came,” he smirked.
