"Unacceptable," a harsh and serious voice spoke as Diana listened intently. "I cannot believe Diana, as your mother, I am offended. I raised you to become a model, not a fighter." It was obvious she was infuriated with her at the time, so she sat there quietly, listening intently as she was lectured. There was a lot of tension in their house, but something interrupted Mildred's, Diana's mother, lecture. "Hey ma'," It was Lilly, Diana's 21-year-old sister, "where's my handbag? I've been looking for it for, days and I still can't find it." She said, confused, and then suddenly worried that she had interrupted her mother. She said with worry, "Oh my god, sorry mom. I'll go look for it somewhere else." She gave me a thumbs up and a worried smile on her way out.
"Where was I? Oh right. Diana, this behavior and deniance of your family's pride and honor is unacceptable." She said furiously. Diana bursted out saying, "Well, it's my life, not yours. I'm done with this whole family, I can't believe you would force me to do something I clearly don't wanna do!" Diana was surprised with herself as surprised as her mother was. Lilly overheard them, but didn't exactly help her younger sister out.
For the Prescotts, their motto is "every man for themselves", or in this case, woman. They've all been raised that way, so they've always been independent, selfish, and straight-up rude. "That's it, cannot do this anymore. Lilly! Get the paper and application papers!" Mildred yelled towards the other room. Lilly yelled back saying, "Alright ma', I'll get 'em right now!"
"What's this place? Some kind of military school?" Diana said as they drove through the gates of a school called Miss. Vangela's School for Troubled Children. Mildred said firmly, "This is the school you'll be attending from now on. No excuses, I don't want to here another word from you."
This was gonna be a living hell for Diana, but miracles can always happen...right?
