My legs were so tired and my feet hurt a lot, I've been running for forever! I wanna rest, to sleep, to go back home! But I couldn't... All I could do was run away from the fire and smoke. I didn't even have time to put my shoes on.

"Wait, what's that?" I said out loud. There was a small window, way down on the floor that had light coming out of it. Maybe I can stay in there until morning time?

I kneeled down and peeked inside, all I could see was the floor and the lights coming from someplace on the ceiling. Maybe they left the lights on for a reason. Like a secret that only I could find! With a smile, I crawled inside, but my arms weren't strong enough to hang on, so I fell in. "Waaah!"

The sound of things crashing and a small squeal reverberated through the empty rooms of rental place. Strange, I don't remember any employees' scheduled to work tonight... Must be a rat of some kind. The faint sound of sniffling made me dismiss that explanation, no doubt that it was a human. I made my way over to the source of the noise, wanting to make quick work of whoever was disturbing my peace and quiet.

"Don't cry, don't cry!" I whimpered as I wiped my face of tears and snot. Through my blurry vision, I saw something moving closer to me, something small and white.

I blinked to get a better look and saw a bunch of little dolls crawling, but they froze when I stared at them. "Are you... alive?" I whispered the last part, like it was a secret between me and the dolls. They didn't answer, they didn't even move again.

I carefully picked up one of them that was closest to me and looked at at closely, it looked like a regular little wooden-puppet type doll. "Hmm... well, hi. Sorry for falling on your boxes," I said to the doll in my hand while shaking it's tiny hand with my fingers. Mama said that shaking hands was the polite-est way to say 'hi' to people. "I'm Y/N. Do you have names?"

"I'm afraid that they don't talk, my dear," said a lovely voice. I looked around to see where it came from and saw a beautiful ballerina come out of the dark in front of me. "Wow..."

While I stared up at her, the little dolls around me quickly crawled away. Even the one I was holding, it squirmed around before I let it free.

I looked back up at the ballerina lady, her eyes were closed but I could tell that she was looking at me. "Sorry for falling into your window, miss. I was just so tired from running, and I didn't want to sleep on the street. There's rocks and trash and stuff all over them!" I explained

She tilted her head to the side and asked, "What were you running from, child?" I fidgeted uncomfortably before taking a big breath "Well..."

I've been staying with miss Ballora and her friends for the past weeks, she introduced me to them after letting me stay over that night we met. There's Baby, Foxy, Chica, Bon Bon, and Freddy! Plus the little doll friends hiding everywhere, the Bidybabs and Minireenas.

What was I saying? Oh yeah!

I really like staying here with them, so I wanted to make something nice for them to say 'thank you'. Right now I was drawing using some old papers lying around the building and some crayons that Foxy got me, it was a picture of all of us hanging out. "Hmm, hm, hm, hmm, hmmm..."

"Hi, Y/N! What are you up to?" Said a soft and sweet voice. I covered up the drawing with my hands and looked up at Baby with a smile. "It's a secret! No peeking," I yelled. She giggled and looked away saying, "Alright, alright. I guess we'll have to see it when you're finished with it."

I looked up at the picture with a proud smile, using the supplies in the guard office, I hung it up with tape where everyone could see it. "Look everybody! I wanna show you all something!" I shouted as I ran around the building to get them.

Up on the wall was a crayon picture of me being carries by miss Ballora with Baby and Chica to the left and the boys to the right, the background was the outside with birds and butterflies all over.

How long had it been since that night when I found Y/N laying on the floor of the gallery? A month or so? My, how time flies...

"Come here little buddy!" "Nooooo! I don't wanna!"

I let out a slight chuckle as the two voices approached, soon after, Freddy and Y/N ran in giggling. "Heeeelp! Freddy's turned into the tickle monster," Y/N squealed as she hid behind my legs. "Oh sure, run to mama," Freddy said teasingly.

"Alright you two, she's feeling tired now. So go on, back to your stage," I said with a small sigh. "Booo," Freddy whined but followed my instructions. "Bye bye, Y/N," Bon Bon said with a wave.

"Thanks for saving me, mommy!" She grinned. "It is getting late though, little snowflake. You'd best head to bed now," I said as I picked her up. "Aww... okay."
