Okay guys, now I know I only have 2 reads but if this ever gets popular I'd just like to say that this chapter is 100% truth. So, I hope you like it!!
It's only part one since its so long I need to split it up!

I hate life.
This was the only thought that was running through my head while I was helping my younger cousins, Patrick and Ryan, get their fishing poles situated. Currently, I couldn't keep a hold of the damn thing while trying to put a damn worm on it because I had so many distractions.
My cousins and I were fishing during this early Saturday afternoon while camping at Lake Lahontan. I came with my aunt, my grandparents and their friends. My parents and younger sister weren't there because they were working and my sister was in school.
I was still trying to poke that worm through the hook but it poked me instead.
I swore under my breath.
Let me back up a bit. So today is August 3, 2008 and I just lasted a whole year of the tortuous eighth grade. But my eighth grade year wasn't like everyone else's. My eighth grade contained a series of events stemming from a nasty rumor that spread around the whole school. This caused a whole year full of binders being thrown at me, people shoving me into the lockers trying to start a fight with me, slipping me suicide "go kill yourself" letters in my locker, etc.
On top of all that, my friends were super shallow and ditched me because no one wanted to hang out with the "loser" of the school.
And to this day, I have no idea what the rumor was entirely.
People sucked.
In order to get away from all of that, I was going to a different school with different people. However, I convinced myself that that doesn't necessarily mean they will be different. If 2,000 kids could act that way, then everyone else is bound to. Right?
Of course, a small part of me prayed that I was wrong and there's no possibility that I would get more than a dose of that torture in life.
Yeah right. I'm not that optimistic.
"Em, do you need help?" My tired 8 year old cousin Ryan asked me. I didn't blame the kid. You can only spend so much time in the hot sun by the lake shore without any luck of catching fish and not be a little frustrated.
"Nah, I got it."
Suddenly, I felt a tap on my shoulder.
I turned around and there he was. There was a shirtless, bathing suited god of a man standing right before me. He was taller than me, I would guess about 5'8", had blonde shaggy hair, stunning blue eyes, and a super hot body. He was soak and wet, with beads of water dripping down his chest. Hallelujah.
I gulped. "What?" I said sourly.
What? Just because he's hot doesn't mean he's worth my attention. I've had enough attention to last a lifetime.
"Here." He said smoothly and handed me a red solo cup full of corn.
I made a face. Wow, corn...what do I say to that? "Um...thanks?"
He chuckled at my reaction, as did my cousins.
My 10 year old cousin Patrick spoke up. "Do we really look that hungry?"
"You coulda brought something better to eat...like..hot dogs!" Ryan stated, grimacing at the corn.
My cousins busted up laughing and I stifled a laugh. The guy smiled in amusement, obviously thinking that was pretty funny too. I love my cousins.
