Chapter #10: Heat

(Shiro's POV)

It had been a few days since we rearranged Voltron and the device the Olkari built was ready. We went straight to the planet, not really being able to find out anything about Lotor's plan to kidnap Keith.

We rushed to the main structure, my heart in my throat as Allura touched the device, pouring her energy into it. I was worried it wouldn't be able to tell us anything but apparently, he had been getting even hotter lately. Ryner worried that he would die if we didn't do anything soon.

"Alright, let's scan his body and figure out how to help him," Ryner said as Allura nearly collapsed. She had come here straight from her mission when Ryner called. We were all anxious to find a way to cure Keith, but I didn't realize how thin she had spread herself.

"Allura! Are you okay?!" Pidge gasped as she rushed to the princess' side and held her up.

"I'm fine, let's help him." She said, smiling softly as Ryner booted up the machine. It began to scan Keith's body as we took him out of the pod.

My heart was racing so fast I could hear the fast paced beat in my ears as the monitor beeped, "Hmmm..." Ryner said thoughtfully, gazing at the screen carefully.

"W-What?! What is it?!" I inquired impatiently.

"Is Keith... part Galra?" She queried, sounding almost puzzled by the information she was reading.

"Y-Yes... We just recently found out that his mother was Galra..." I admitted shyly, feeling very nervous.

"Well, according to my scans... He is in heat. Galra Omegas usually get it when they turn a certain age but since he lived on earth, he probably would've never gotten it. Was he exposed to a Galra Alpha?" She questioned, looking to me for more information.

"Umm... I don't know if he is an Alpha... but I assume since he is Zarkon's son he must be... Prince Lotor did force himself on Keith back on his cruiser..." I added thoughtfully, cursing his name.

"Well, that would make sense. Unfortunately for the young Paladin, unless he regains consciousness he could die from lack of stimulation. His heat has come in full force, which is unusual for it to occur so late... His body doesn't know how to deal with it, so it's shutting down." She concurred sadly, I gasped and shook my head in disbelief, tears welling in my eyes.

"N-No... He can't be..." I cried, rushing to his side as I grabbed up his burning hand and brought it to my lips, "Please Keith... You have to wake up..." I whimpered, the tears I held back finally spilling forth onto his hand.

"I-I'm so sorry, Shiro..." Pidge muttered sadly, rubbing my shoulder comfortingly but I was distraught. All of this was because of that damn Galra!!

"I am going to kill that bastard!" I growled angrily, then suddenly a miracle happened. Keith's eyes shot open and he gasped in pain, his body curling up.

"NghhAaaahhhh!!" he shrieked, holding his sides as I shot to my feet, trying to stabalize him by holding onto his hips, "Shii~Shiiro!!" he mewled as his ears started to change. They became big, fluffy, purple cat ears and suddenly a cat-like tail sprouted out of his jeans. 

I gasped and held onto him, trying to soothe him as I pulled him into my body, "Shhh, Keith... It's okay. You're gonna be okay." I cooed softly, rocking us gently back and forth as I sat us down on the floor.

I could feel all eyes on us as I rocked us back and forth, we were all excited to have him back but shocked as to what we witnessed with him growing cat ears and a tail, "Sh-Shiro... So, hot..." Keith moaned softly, panting heavily as he looked up at me, lust and desire in his eyes.
