Mendak ki Sherni

I guess it's quite clear on which couple this OS is about.

I initially had a different plot in head but somehow I don't remember what I thought of. So going ahead with a viewer's suggestion and my imagination.

This particular phase of their story was my favourite.. but there were certain things I was not happy about.. so let's start!

The backstory is that Swarna didn't come to the college at that time after Keesh anniversary, rather Kartik visited Udaipur a few times, to avoid Suvarna coming to college, for obvious reasons. This OS starts 3 months after the Keesh anniversary.

The activity area was crowded with students and few professors as the results had just come out and everyone was trying to see their result on the notice board.

Naira stood at one side neat the notice board looking at Kartik.

"Kabhi saath woh manzil dekhi thi humne, socha na tha ki safar akele karna padega iss raah mein.."

"Alag raaston pe chalte chalte manzil kuch dhundhla si gayi hai, aakhir asli maayne toh tumhare sang hi the."

Both said in their hearts while looking at each other, unsaid emotions in both their eyes.

"Top karne ki khushi bhi khaali khaali si lag rahi hai aj.. jitna bhi khudko sambhalun, bas ek nazar tum par gayi, ki pichle do saal hawa ho jaate hain."

The sparkle in her eyes faded away, the girl thought looking at the boy.

"Maine kaha tha na.. tum koshish karo toh kya nahin kar sakti ho. Abhi toh sirf 1st semester hua hai.. tum final mein bhi top karogi aur humara.. apna sapna poora karogi."

Kartik said in his heart and looked down with a sigh.

Their eyelock was interrupted with Tanvi excitedly talking to Naira.

"Congratulations Naira! I'm so so happy for you. Main bet jeet gayi, I deserve a treat now!"

She said hugging Naira and congratulating her. Naira just smiled in return.

"Toh kab de rahi ho?"

"Kya?"

"Treat Naira! Infact abhi hi chalte hain canteen. Dekho saste mein nipat rahi ho tum."

"Nahin.. mera matlab thodi der mein chalte hain."

Naira herself had no idea why she said that, why did she want to wait for a while, what was she expecting.

Kartik wanted to congratulate her personally, atleast as a professor, as he started to walk towards her, Mr. Pinto came to introduce him to some people.

Naira, on the other hand was peeking glances at him, for what, she didn't know herself, or pretended so. She got upset when she saw him busy talking with a few people.

After a few minutes, Kartik tried to peek a glance at Naira, only to find her gone. He too got upset.

Aisi khamoshiyon mein chupe dil ke nagme sunaun kise..

Tanvi Akshay & Naira sat at one of the tables.

"Naira.. mujhe bhi bata na secret apni brilliant student hone ka.. taaki main bhi thoda better result laa sakun."

"Haan yaar.. jaanna toh mujhe bhi hai. Thodi kripa humpe bhi kar dijiye Naira ji."
