The sun was bright through my window, leaving rays of subshine all on the floor and walls. It was another beautiful day, all this week it'd be warm. I was sitting at my desk, making small builds on mc to pass time. Kayla had told me yesterday she wanted to get lunch with her friends and I. I had never met her friends, but if they can keep up with her chaos then they must be pretty good friends.
I got up out of my chair and stretched. 2:37 pm. She said we would all meet at the local mall at 3. I better get going if I want to make it on time. I grabbed my wallet and phone and made my way downstairs. They must have had another little party or movie night or something last night because the entire place was dirty. I didn't have any time to clean right now though, I'll leave it until I get back or someone else could clean. I mean, they should clean up after themselves anyway.
I turned to go out the front door when I saw a face that I had sort of been trying to avoid. Techno. I'm just not sure how I could talk to him after what happened, it's awkward. He was sitting on the porch watching some videos or something. I opened the door, "Hey techno" I greeted the boy.
"Hey (y/n), where are you headed?" He paused the video he was watching.
I know I should be leaving right now, but who really needs to be on time? I can be a few minutes late.
"I'm gonna go have lunch with a few people, but I have some time." I answered while sitting down.
"You know, we could have lunch sometime too. If it's fine with you?" He questioned.
"Yeah that seems fun! Just whenever you want to and if I'm free I'd be down." I replied with a small grin. "I actually need to go now, I'll see you later!" I told him while I fast walked to the car. Now I really would be just a few minutes late but it's fine. I started the car and drove off.

Once I got there it was 3:12. But it seemed like everyone had just gotten there too because they were all getting out of their cars. It wasn't windy today but it was very sunny and hot. I waved to everyone and introduced myself to them, they done the same. Kayla's friends seemed like really cool people too.
I spotted Kayla and speed walked to her, "Kayla you wont believe it!! Techno and I might get lunch together sometime!!!" I said with a bright smile.
"Seriously?! I told you he liked you!" She squealed.
"There's no way. It's just lunch."
