Shifting, put simply, is the act of transferring your conscience to another reality. I know that sounds terrifying, but its really the best way to sum it up. I won't give an overly detailed summary, but I will try my best to explain it here >
Basically, every time you make a decision, an alternate reality is created. For example, this morning you might have woken up and had to choose between cereal or toast. You could have chosen toast, so then an alternate reality is created where you chose to eat cereal. Or another reality where you chose to skip breakfast, or maybe one where you died in your sleep before you even woke up. Every decision we make spins of an infinite number of possibility's. think of every event in human history, spinning off infinite realities, those spinning off realities, ect. Thats a lot of alternate realities. (there's a whole CIA document on this, I've tried to read it but found it incredibly boring and confusing lol)
Transferring your conscience to an alternate universe sounds impossible, and people will probably try to tell you it is. BUT THEY ARE WRONG! please do NOT listen to these things. It is very much possible and attainable. How do I know? Because I have shifted multiple times. (I can create a chapter on that later if you want)
Some people will say its just vivid lucid dreaming. That is also false. When you lucid dream, you cannot feel pain or textures, smell, taste, go to sleep and dream, ect. Lucid dreaming is the act if being aware in your dreams. Shifting is not. Shifting is simply yeeting yourself off to another reality.
Honestly, it's not difficult, (despite how hard it sounds) you are pure conscienceness, not attached to or defined by any body or reality. I'm not going to go any deeper into this because its super annoying to explain. All you need to know is that you can go ANYWHERE. You could go to Hogwarts, learn spells, hang out with the freaking golden trio (or go there to get laid by Draco, whatever floats your boat babes). You could shift to a Marvel universe, go date Peter Parker or something. You could write your own universe as well. Some people shift to their current reality, but better. (Like no pollution, racism, ect.) for their mental heath, as it offers a nice escape. It's all up to you.
Where you aim to shift to is called your desired reality. (usually shorted to DR) the reality you're currently in is called your current reality. I've listed some DR ideas for y'all down here
DR ideas:
- Hogwarts (yay)
- The Marauders era 🤩🤩🤩
- Marvel (also a very common choice)
- Anime (just please be careful guys, there's often lots of gore and violence in many animes)
- Fame (this would honestly be so fun)
- DC (marvels better imao but you do you)
- Outer Banks (if anyone shifts there please punch Rafe for me xoxo)
- Current Reality but better (this would be a lovely place to shift if you wanted to)
- Stranger Things (go hug Will for me please he deserves more love)
- Hunger Games (tw: HEAPS of violence)
- Little Women (that would be adorable)
- Maze Runner (NEWTY MY BELOVED)
- Percy Jackson (this would be so fun)
- Twilight (you do you)
- Coraline (tw but have fun lol)
- Wings of Fire (never read them but I imagine it would be fun)
- Star Wars (possible tw because everyones ugly af)
- Studio Ghibli movies (IMAGINE HANGING OUT WITH TOTORO AHH)
- American Horror story (BIG tw murder, blood, NSFW, ect)
- Alice in wonderland (adorable imao)
- Miraculous (YES CAT NOIR)
- Sherlock (this would be super fun)
- F.R.I.E.N.D.S. (imagine hanging out with the gang ahhh)
- Animal crossing (SO CUTE AHH)
- Minecraft (this would be really relaxing)
- Pokemon (wow-)
- StarDew Valley (this would be so cute and relaxing)
- Undertale (possible tw)
- Le Misérables (possible tw but would be so fun)
There is no limit to the amount of DRs you can shift to, just rememeber, of you can imagine it, you can shift to it
