•Should I trust you?•

Veronica tied JD to a chair from the chest down, she might have overdone it but she didn't care. Veronica got the biggest knife she had and sat down on the floor infront of him...waiting. A few minutes passed and she fell asleep waiting for him to wake up. JD shook his head and dropped it down, he pulled it back up. He noticed he couldn't move and saw Veronica slumped over on the floor. JD started rocking side to side and eventually knocked the chair over on its side, it woke up Veronica and she scooted back and held the knife out.
"Well finally your awake!"
He rolled his eyes and began chewing at the rope.
"What are you doing? That's going to take you ages."
JD spit out some of the rope and stared aggressively into Veronica's eyes.
"Does it look like I care?!"
He sighed and continued chewing at the rope. Veronica was still tired and carefully made her way around the chair to put it back up. JD snapped at her and she dropped the chair.
"Mhn...fine just pick up the chair."
He mumbled as Veronica who was half scared to death quickly tipped it back up straight.

    They both locked eyes the whole time it took Veronica to get to her room. Once she got there she walked in and locked the door shut tightly.

JD shifted his hands around and found a pocketknife in his pocket, he began cutting the rope around his hands with it. Once he got his arms free he cut the rope around his chest, then his waist, then his legs.
"How many ropes does she have?!"
JD mumbled to himself. He got up and shook around before heading quietly over to the door of Veronica's bedroom. He fiddled with the doornob until he just decided lockpick it once again. JD sat on the bed staring at Veronica till she popped her eyes open after feeling the bed creak.
"AHH WHAT THE FU-"
JD covered her mouth and pulled her close to him.
"Sh sh shhhh..."

He whispered and stroked his hand through her hair as she continued the muffled screaming.
"Shush I said. He neighbors will hear you..."
Veronica calmed down a bit, staring at JD. He took his hand off her mouth and she backed up onto the bed, her arms around her legs.
"I've chaaanged Ronnie...you can trust me."
She didn't answer, he reached over and picked her up. JD wrapped his arm around her waist and kissed her. Veronica pushed him away which pissed him off.
"If you want me to trust you then why do you keep grabbing me...and forcefully kissing me?!"
JD sighed and just stared.
"It's so cute when you complain."
He smiled at her, like he was in some time of trance. Veronica's face turned got a bit flushed red like and she shook her head to contain herself. She slapped him and he put his train of thought back together. JD pulled Veronica in to hug her. She just accepted the fact she was going to have to suffer with JD until he left and let him hug her.
"Can you trust me now?"
He whispered in Veronica's ear, playing with her hair.
"Ehhh...I'll think about it."
She mumbled.

About a few minutes later Veronica fell asleep in JD's arms and he laid her on the bed. He put his trench coat over her and climbed in the bed with her. JD eventually fell asleep with his arms around her.

I'm finally getting more motivated to do this story more 🤩 which I'm surprised I finished it in this amount of time lmao anyways part 4 getting started now :)
