The project

I woke up the next morning with a smile on my face. I felt like I had closure about what happened Emma. Also about Jason. He would always make sure I was ok in school and take to me every once in a while. I was just concentrating on getting through exams and getting into Colombia.

when I had arrived at school I saw my ex, matt making out with some girl. it didn't really hurt me because we had been broken up for mouths now, but I guess a part of me kinda hoped he was still single. I tried walking past him quickly to try and go to my first class which was history. I really like history, I liked to find out what was life like in the past. As I walked into class I noticed that our normal teacher, Mr Davison was not here but replaced but this new female teacher. She had long dark hair with bright green eyes. she looked like she was in her mid twenty

"Ok everyone I am your new teacher Ms Charles, Mr Davison and his wife have moved to a different country so for the rest of the year I will be your teacher" she said in a very cheery tone. she then went on talking about the civil war. I just sat there taking notes of key dates and facts.

"I've got some very exciting news, I have planned a project for everyone. you'll be put into partners and you will create a family tree and a presentation on your findings." the whole moaned in annoyances. I was also annoyed about hated fact that we will be put into partners. why could I not just do it on my own, I was more than capable. Ms Charles started to read out the partners.

" Indiana and Jason" all the eyes in the classed turned to look at me like I did something wrong. I also got a couple of glares from some of the girls like I picked him to be my partner. I didn't even know he was in this class. I scanned the room to be meet with an oddly cheery set of eyes that belonged to the one any only.Jason.

After class, I walked up to Jason and his 'gang'. building up enough courage to tapped on his shoulder. He slowly turned around, looking down at me while the rest of his friends looked at me with confusion.

"umm, I was umm the project" I stuttered trying to find the word to say. I didn't know why I was nervous of a sudden.

" you trying to ask about the project." he said raising his eyebrow whilst his friends laughed in the background

" yeah, I was wondering when you wanted to work on it and where. I am free whenever" I said concentrating on my words so I didn't stutter or be made a bigger idiot of myself than I had already did.

" well what about at your house after school today or tomorrow" he said

" yeah today would be ok" I said looking down " I will see you then" then I walked away just in case I said something more embarrassing

As I walked away I could hear Jason's friends laughing

" ooo look the freak has a crush on Jason" I heard one of them say then them all explode in laughter
