About two months had passed and no fruits of the case had been formed. Almost two months of Joan and Sir James running in and out of the office, in and out of the flat.
I think it is time for me to inspect the apartment itself. The apartment was located at the side of Lawyle Road and the block number is 50. It was reported that the girl was murdered in the second-storey flat. It was her boyfriend's house.
The place was remote. Few cars parked at the side to the road. The three-storey apartment stood in the middle of nowhere, waiting to be investigated by us. It wanted to be pronounced useable again. Now, the apartment was empty. Everyone has to be excavated. It was an investigation. And what more frightening is that probably this case would last forever.
I looked up, the sky was light blue, but there were no clouds. It was just clear blue. I looked back at my watch and realised it was noon so quickly. Joan was late again.
I walked into the apartment with Sir James tagging along. I couldn't wait to see the room. I couldn't wait to start quickly. All because I need to end it fast.
"Um... Ms Francis. Heres the keys to the flat. The keys to the rooms are in this plastic bag." Sir James said as she passed me a plastic bag and a key.
"Okay sure. Thanks a lot. Please stand outside the flat and make sure that Ms Comet comes latest at one in the afternoon." I instructed him as I took the keys from his hands.
"Yes Ms Francis. Call me in if there is anything wrong." Sir James replied as I walked towards the door to the flat.
