(After the week of school)

It was Friday and you just got home from school. You texted Logan and asked him if he wanted to come over. He said yes. So you grab your two barrel racing horses and groomed them. Logan arrived so you taught him how to bathe a horse. You kept your horses in a small dry lot to keep them clean. Logan stayed at your house in the spare room. On Saturday, you went on a trail ride with sophia while Logan does whatever he does. You had a good day. Then finally it was rodeo day. It was finally time to pull a couple checks. You wake up at 6:00 because the rodeo started at 9. You get your tack and horses then load up. Your dad drove you and Logan there. When you got there, you warmed both the horses up. You did your practice runs and finally it was time. You stood in the ally way head full of steam. Woodrow was the fastest horse you had. You started the pattern full speed out of the gate. Here comes the first barrel you apply pressure with your spur to his ribs. You pull right with your reins. He spins the barrel perfectly. Onto second. Running faster than ever. Time to turn the second. You apply pressure to his ribs with your other foot and pull his reins. He again spins it perfectly. Onto third. Cmon faster. You kicked his sides getting him to run. Here comes third. You do the same thing you did with the other barrels. Finally the best part. The way home. Your legs encouraging his legs. Cmon cross that eye(timer). You ran a 16.456. Your fastest time yet. You saw your rival and said
"Beat that Quinn"
Quinn ran a 17.386. You beat her. Onto peaches run. You ran a 16.836. You got second on her. You went home with 200 dollars in winnings from that rodeo. A few moments later you hear your phone ding. You look at it and it was the nfr. They said that yoy qualified for the nfr. You were so excited. Your dream finally came true. You were going to be on TV. At one of the most known rodeos.
