"Adderkit! The patrol's returning!" Driftkit squealed. The brown-and-white tomkit was easily excitable, and Adderkit found this very entertaining. The black she-kit stepped out of the nursery, and spotted their father walking in the nursery's direction with a rabbit in his jaws. Dropping it, he smiled at his kits. "Here you go, young ones." Hailpath smiled. "You'll give some to your mother, won't you?" Echosong's voice drifted out of the nursery, as the graceful she-cat stepped out. "Of course, Mum!" Adderkit giggled.
"When will we become apprentices? Harepaw and Quailpaw all left the nursery a WHOLE MOON ago!" Driftkit asked Echoflood later, looking very annoyed. "When you're six moons, Driftkit. You'll be with the other apprentices in a moon, as you are now five moons. Don't worry, you'll catch up with Quailpaw and Harepaw soon. Sorrelpaw will most likely made a full medicine cat soon, as she's been training with Sheepstorm for a lot longer then Quailpaw and Harepaw have been doing their warrior training." Echoflood purred. "May all cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather around the MossRock to hear my words!" Thistlestar's voice rang through the camp, Sheepstorm and Sorrelpaw sitting by the foot of the rock, Sheepstorm looking proud. After everyone had sat down, Thistlestar continued. "Sheepstorm has something to tell us. Go ahead, Sheepstorm." the leader flicked his tail. "I'm happy to announce that Sorrelpaw has finished her training. I took her to the Moonstone last night, and StarClan has given her a full medicine cat name. I present Sorrelflame!" Sheepstorm meowed happily, wrapping her tail around her apprentice. "Sorrelflame! Sorrelflame! Sorrelflame!" the clan cheered. Sorrelflame purred around happily, soaking up her clanmates' encouragement. "Hailpath will be organising patrols. Meeting dismissed." Thistlestar's voice rang out.
