I nodded my head solemnly. He pulled me into a warm embrace and just patted my hair as I cried into his chest. He takes me to a special place he told me he saw when he was younger, it was a magnificent sight and I thought it was the perfect place to mourn in peace. He left to go get dinner. He came back with my favorite food. Burgers 😍. We devoured them, and when we were done, we took awhile to appreciate the beautiful scenery we were at. Sparkly lake, perfect sunset, everything and anything that just made you feel safe.. He jumped into the lake, looking like he'd done it billions of times. Me, a coward, looked at him like he needed to be in an insane asylum. He smiled and pulled me in with him. I giggled and splashed him. This was the most real fun I believe.. I've ever had. And it turns out maybe I was in love with the wrong person all along...
