Adam and I ended up falling asleep by the lake. I woke up hearing a car engine revving and smelling exhaust. I open my eyes and see Brian staring at Adam and I. I scream and Adam wakes up immediately. He looks up with terrified eyes.. Looking at his best friend who looks hurt and mortified. "I came to apologize, Layla," Brian says. He looks at Adam with an angry expression, and slaps him as hard as he can. Lorie came out of the car and asked what the hold up was, obviously not knowing what Brian came here to do. She saw and cried and ran away, I'm not exactly sure how far she's gonna get, but it's not my problem anymore. My focus is back on the boys who used to be so close..
