.Returning To Your Childhood Roots.

You would wake up one morning feeling surprisingly happy and well, not feeling down and tired, your alarm didn't go off since you were on break from school, for roughly two - three weeks due to an event your town was hosting, plus your parental guardian was the mayor, how cool is that!, you called out for your parental guardian, but they weren't home, so you hopped out of bed, put your favorite xx-large t-shirt on, some baggy sweat pants, and headed downstairs to watch your favorite tv show, but before you did any of that you made a small snack, you put some nutella on two slices of bread, made some popcorn, got a can of your favorite soda too, then you headed back to the living room, setting everything down on the coffee table infront of you.

As soon as you sat down you heard someone ring your doorbell, "ughhh!! it better not be that dimwitted bitch from my science class..", you got up and checked the door to see no one, so you stepped out a little before you felt something touch your foot, "AHHH WHAT THE FUCK!", you jumped back before looking down to see a bulky yellow package on your doorstep so you picked it up, took a quick glance around before bringing it inside, you decided to read the front as you felt your heart racing slightly, "my- my- my old workplace! how did they send me this..eh oh well!", you got the mail opener and cut it open like the badass you are, you saw a black medium sized box inside the packaging.

You carefully slipped it out into your hand, as you flipped it to the front, "hmm..seems they forgot to rewind it, I'll just slip it into my vhs recording box and rewind it for them heh.", you slipped it inside, as you let it rewind you checked the packaging to make sure you weren't missing anything, but something caught your eye, it was shiny, golden, and small, you dumped the rest of the package out onto the table as a key would land onto the glass coffee table making a ding sound as it fell, a white sheet of paper would follow and land face down, you picked up and started to read it.

"THE STAFF DISAPPEARED 10 YEARS AGO! WE'RE STILL HERE!

you were confused as you tilted your head before you heard the sound of a click from the vhs player, realizing it's already rewound itself so you pressed play before running to your couch to sit down to see what this tape was all about and why was it sent to you cause maybe it would have the answers, before you saw mr. leith pierre on the tape slowly walking to the camera.

"What you're about to see is the most incredible doll ever invented, a little girl talks to her, poppy gives her answers, don't believe me? just watch.."
the tape would play for a while but as it got near the end you saw a weird glitch in it as it made you get a bit scared, so you decided to run up to your room to get dressed and pack a few things before heading to the factory to make sure this wasn't some sort of joke.

But of course you ate before leaving so you took your time since you weren't in a rush really but you were still super excited to see the factory again, even with it closed down, so you grabbed your keys and headed out to your car but you suddenly stopped to see most of your neighbors just staring at you as you walked and entered your car, "uh ok..that was a bit weird."

You just shrugged it off before reversing and driving down the road before you jammed out to your favorite songs.

you finally arrived, there it was, the place you remember visiting vaguely as a child, you started to feel so much nostalgia but then you remembered him, your co-worker who was your secret crush, huggy wuggy..but you called him huggs or bubs, he loved huggs more, you felt some tears slowly drip down your face but you wiped them away and looked around to make sure nobody was out this far but who would be, there's no civilization near this disclosed location, plus it's an hour drive, so you quickly ran to the doors and took a deep breath, pulling the backpack off your back and pulling out the key from earlier.

surprisingly it worked on the door, you felt your little heart racing as you slowly crept into the slightly dim lighted facility, you suddenly felt some force push you into the facility as the door slammed shut behind you, you stumbled and fell but you caught yourself, "shit..thank god i didn't fall all the way, right?", you would ease yourself back up before you dusted yourself off so you wouldn't look dirty, you walked around the lobby absolutely in love with the scenery even if it was a bit messed up, you felt like a child that once was entering this place, you saw something green on the lobby desk, you ran over to it as you picked it up and read it, "hm..security tape?, well, where can i put this, wait is it even re-wound?", you flipping it to check and it was.

after a bit of searching you found the tv on the wall with a green vhs tape player under it on a shelf, so you popped it in and backed up to watch it hoping it would atleast be a video of someone explaining but it was only a hand, a plush hand. "Oh..i guess it's starting" The tape would play.

"hi my name is Leith Pierre! and im the head of innovation here at the playtime co. toy factory, if you're seeing this, then you're trespassing, yeah we play this little tape on loop whenever we close the factory for the day, so trespasser, just to make you aware, while we pride ourselves primarily on our high quality toys and excellent childcare, we also pride ourselves on our security, for example this facility is full of hidden motion triggers which once set off, will turn on the factories emergency alarms and directly contact the authorities and...that's one of the more tame aspects of our security system, NO SPOILERS, so you've got my warning, it's not too late to turn around, i just hope your certain whatever you're doing is worth it."

the tape would cut off as you felt a bit worried, as you blinked a bit before speaking, "HUH- WHAT MORE IS THERE- THE FUCK YALL GOT HIDDEN", you would feel slightly scared before you heard a familiar sound, you looked down the hallway to your right, you saw the words gift shop and instantly ran to the doors forcing them open and looking around, but to your dismay there were barley any toys in it anymore, but you still heard that sound, so you looked up to see a train, circling around on a red train track attached to the ceiling, you noticed the colors but you suddenly felt a bit loopy so you sat down on the floor and listened to some music on your phone, getting a gummy snack bar out to eat and your favorite soda, you decided it would be ok to relax but what you didn't know is someone would secretly be watching you from a side vent in the wall.
