Aurora's POV
It was a beautiful morning. I made breakfast for my siblings. It was getting late. I already quit my other jobs because I was earning enough from the cafe. And now Aston also started working.
Well, actually Aston and April forced me to quit. I was ready to leave by then both of them came to eat breakfast. I said bye to them and left.
I was enjoying the weather. I sat on the window seat of the bus and yesterday's night came into my mind. The way he looked at me made my heart beat act up again.
I get out of the bus and walked to the cafe. It was near the bus stand. So I didn't do much of walking.
I saw a paper stick to the glass door of the cafe. The cafe's door was closed. It was already time to open it. I read the paper. Something shocking was on it. It was a loan recall notice.
I hurriedly enter the cafe. Mr. Jackson was sitting with a man in a black suit. I could tell that it was regarding the notice. I didn't disturb them and sat in the corner. That man left after a few minutes. Mr. Jackson stood up and came to me and gave me a smile.
"What is going on?" I asked worriedly.
"Nothing too bad." He replied calmly. How could he stay so calm in that situation?
"How it is not bad? The cafe will be closed. They are going to sell the cafe." I asked.
"Not yet, they gave me an option. If I was able to sell the cafe to someone who can bear the remaining EMIs then they will not auction it. And I will get some of the money I spend in the cafe in all these years." He replied.
"Oh! But..."
But what about me and other staff? I resigned from my other two jobs just a few days ago.
I couldn't tell him that. Because I know he is suffering himself.
"Why didn't you tell me about this? But the business was going well, how come you were not able to pay the EMIs?" I asked.
"My wife, her condition is getting worse. She needs her blood transplantation every week now, before it was every fifteen days, so I still had the money to pay the loan money."
"But you didn't tell me about it. You have so many memories together here in this cafe."
"Yes, I know, but I can always make new memories with her. Everything will be okay as long as she is fine." He then patted my shoulder and said. "I am sorry for you, you have to clear the store."
"That's not an issue. I really hope that you find a buyer." I then stood up to go to the storeroom.
"You have today, so you can complete the last project that is going on."
"Okay, thanks Mr Jackson." I went in. I looked at the painting I was working on. Then looked around at all of my work.
I took pictures of a few of them and posted them on my social account. I rarely use it. Almost never. There was not a single picture of me is on it, but I put the picture of my work on it for the first time, that was to remember them forever.
I then started working on my last painting here. It was emotional and sad. I had so many memories of here. I remember the first day I joined here. I made so many mistakes and how Mrs Jackson taught me everything.
I stood up from my seat and went to the shelf near the wall. There sat an old record player. I dusted it and selected my favorite record The Osmonds. They were from '70s. I played a song and started working. I put my phone on silent mode. I don't want anyone to disturb me today. If April or Aston needs me in any emergency then they have the cafe's landline number.

I got it completed by eight in the evening. Mr. Jackson left a few hours ago. I stood up and stretched my legs and arms. I covered the painting and looked around. I have to pack everything. I played a few other records one after another. These albums were my most favorite, 'Guns N' Roses, Journey, Metallica'.
I started dancing and working. I was finished packing and storing every painting by 10.
I was dancing my worries away. I didn't notice someone's presence there. I was jumping around pretending to be on the electric guitar. I knew I must be looking crazy bitch, but who cares, I was all alone. Or that's what I thought. Until I heard a laugh. I turned to look at the intruder and that I wanted to die of embarrassment.
When did enter the room? Did he see me dance? He must be thinking of me as a psycho now.
"Why did you stop? You were awesome."
"Why are you here super early? I thought that I will wait for you today, that's why I finished fast, but you came even earlier than tomorrow. That's not fair. And how could you mention that dance? It was embarrassing.
"Come on, are you free now? Let's ago." He said and took me to his car.
The first thing I did was open my phone and it showed that I got 198 notifications.
What the hell happened? I never got so many notifications. I rarely use my social accounts, so I am not used to seeing this many comments and likes. I was shocked and double check if the phone is mine.
"What was that?" Augustus asked. He heard the bing of my notifications.
" I don't know why, but suddenly many notifications are coming from my social account. I usually never use it. I don't what is happening." I told him while checking my profile.
Those were comments and likes on my recently uploaded photos of my paintings.
But why there are so many likes and comments? I didn't tag them with anyone.
"How many likes did you get?" He asked curiously.
"One of them gets 805 likes. Oh my...there is one painting it got 1k and something likes. Is this for real?" I asked myself.
"Well, your paintings are really awesome. So it's not a big deal if you got this many likes, but seeing how you never uploaded any and don't have that many followers then it means something." He said, appreciating me. "It will help you in achieving your dream. I am happy for you." He said with a genuine smile. He is nothing like that prick.
I smiled back and decided to tell him about the cafe.
"Umm... You don't have to come tomorrow. The cafe is closing down. Mr. Jackson is planning to sell it."
Here goes nothing. And I still have to tell my siblings. God knows what will happen tomorrow.
Hello, darlings. I already planned and starting to draft the next season of this story. It will be a surprise for sure.
I will tell one thing about that story at the end of the remaining chapters.
So to find out....stay tuned.
