"Is his majesty inside?" I asked one of the guards at the door. He looked up briefly at me and nodded his head.

"Tell him I want to see him" I ordered. The guard bowed before walking into Suleiman's room. I heard a door open to my left and I looked to see who it was.

Ibrahim walked out of his room with a smug smile on his face. He turned in my direction and his smirk grew bigger. He made his way towards me much to my dismay, from all the people in the world he was the last one I wanted to see.

"Good evening, Sultanim" Ibrahim bowed his head. I took a deep breath to compose myself. I turned to face him, the guard was taking an awfully long time.

"Good evening, pasha" I nodded my head at him. He changed his posture so he would look taller than me as if he needed to do that. He was trying to show off his power but what I've learned in this palace was that no matter how big you are in size power will only follow those who are smart and willing to burn for it.

"I am glad you finally saw the right path and joined our side again," he said smugly. I rolled my eyes at his words. I wanted to just slap him across the face if that was possible.

"What side, pasha?" I asked raising an eyebrow. He gulped under my piercing glare.

"The right side" he answered

"The right side" he answered. I burst out laughing at his words as if he had just told me the funniest joke in the world. His face showed his confusion.

"I am no one's side. I am on my children's side. I am on my own side" I hissed. The doors to the sultan's room opened again and the guard walked back out. He held the door open for me to walk in to. I sent one last glare Ibrahim's way before I walked into Suleiman's room with a smile on my face. Ibrahim's bewildered expression will never be erased from my brain, it gave me pride that I made him speechless.

"Your majesty" I bowed to my husband who was sitting behind his desk. He looked up and a genuine smile etched itself on his handsome face.

"My moon" he pushed his chair back and stepped out from behind his desk and in front of his fireplace.

"My sultan" I ran into his arms and hugged him tightly. After Hürrem's execution, Suleiman locked himself in his room and drowned himself in his work as a way to grieve.

"I've missed you" I mumbled against his chest. Suleiman raised one of his hands and buried it into my dark brown hair that looked black from the lack of light.

"I've missed you too" I pulled away from the hug and looked up at him with a smile on my face. Suleiman leaned down and captured my lips in a sweet kiss making me melt.

"Never ever push me away like this. You're only hurting me and yourself" I mumbled against his lips. Suleiman nodded his head with a small smile on his face. He was about to lean down and kiss me again when a frantic knock on the door interrupted us. I pulled away from Suleiman as he let the person in. Sümbul agha ran in panting as if he had just run through the whole palace.

"Your majesty, Sehzade Mustafa. He is very sick" Sümbul panted. Suleiman and I looked at each other confused. Suleiman reacted first and ran out of the room. I walked over to Sümbul not knowing if I should visit Mustafa or not after what happened between us.

"What is wrong with the prince?" I asked Sümbul awkwardly. Sümbul looked up at me and shook his head as a way to show that he didn't know.

I sighed and made my way back to the harem where the concubines were whispering to each other. I ignored their gossip and continued my way toward Mustafa's room. The doors to his room opened to show Suleiman and Mahidevran embracing making my heart stop. I can't feel jealousy right now, their only child together was suffering on his bed. I cleared my throat earning their attention and making them pull away from one another.

"How is our prince?" I asked stepping into the room. I bowed to Suleiman who let out a sigh of despair. I felt bad for him, he had already lost an important figure in his life and he may lose another one.

"We still don't know" Mahidevran answered. She raised her hand and wiped her face clean of any tears. I nodded and turned to look at Mustafa who lay on his bed with sweat running down the side is his face. He looked like he was panting for breath. No Mather what happened between us I felt horrible seeing him in this condition.

"Excuse me" I bowed to Suleiman. I turned around and walked out of the room but stopped in my tracks when I saw a familiar girl standing beside Gül. She was trembling as she bowed to me.

"You two, follow me" I ordered quietly. The pair looked at each other before following behind me to my room. I walked in to find Hundi waiting for me there with Mal.

"You two go check on Hürrem's children" I ordered them. Hundi eyed Hürrem's servants before she bowed and left with Mal. I walked over to my bed and sat down on it as if it was a throne.

"Now tell me, what did you do?" I asked looking at the two in front of me. The maid continued to tremble under my gaze and Gül's eyes widened.

"Nothing, my sultanim" Gül said when the maids stayed quiet by his side. I chuckled and shook my head at his horrible lying skills.

"Not on me Gül. You can't lie to me. I am no idiot. What did you do?" I repeated my question. The maid let out a small sob and looked down at the floor with tears streaming down her face, she was truly in love with Mustafa.

"I-I poisoned him" she cried looking back at me with bloodshed eyes.

"Shut your mouth" Gül hissed angrily glaring at her as he tightened his hands into fists.

"No! You shut your mouth" I yelled standing up from my bed angrily. The two looked at me shocked and with fear on their faces.

"How dare you?" I hissed stalking over to the two. The maid cowered back in fear while Gül gulped.

"Hürrem sultan ordered it" Gül answered with a tremble in his voice showing how much fear I itched into him.

"Hürrem sultan is dead" I hissed angrily. Gül looked down with sorrow all over his face.

"This mission ends now" I glared at Gül who was about to protest but froze under my glare.

"And you better hope nothing happens to the Sehzade otherwise I will feed you two to the wolves" the maid let out a cry and fell down on her knees in front of me. Gül gulped and a tear rolled down his face, I wasn't sure if it was because he sad for Hürrem or he was afraid of me.

"Pack your things you will be going to the old palace" I ordered looking down at the crying maid by my feet. She let out a sob but didn't protest as Gül pulled her to her feet. The pair gave me shaking bows before they left my room.

"What were thinking Hürrem?" I ran my fingers through my hair. She wasn't even here yet her schemes were still causing trouble in this palace.
