My theory is that Burntrap and Glitchtrap are both Afton but different entities at the same time.
We know that Glitch is one of the many forms Afton has.
And we've seen both Glitchtrap and Burntrap in Security breach.
So when the fnaf6 fire happend Afton somehow managed to bind a part of himself to a computer chip. When Fnaf help wanted was being made the chip was found and the company making the game tried downloading the files on the chip into a computer to see if it would still work. Well it worked and that formed the virus that we all know as Glitchtrap. At some point it managed to escape the game by attaching itself on Vanny who was working for the company as a game tester. And like i said earlier "Afton somehow managed to bind a PART of himself to a computer chip" and that had split his soul to two different entities.
